cool car, black is hard to shoot during the day, looks like you did the best you could given your location and lighting. i don't really have anything critical to say other than #2's composition doesn't do much for me, but that's just my opinion
Why on earth would anybody put front plates on that car?!
Nice pics though... Who's car?
The car is my father's newest. I was over visiting the other day and decided to go snap some spur of the moment pics.
Unfortunately it is NY State la to have front plates. He commutes over a bridge every day where the police are VERY strict. He's already been hassled in other cars for not having a front plate and the cop who pulled him over told him "I am here every day and will pull you over every day until you have a front plate on". It's not worth the hassle.
Audi is smart. The plate mounts to a filler piece in the grill that can be ordered seperately as either w/plate or without. If he decides he doesn't want the front plate later on we can order the other filler piece and the car will be 100% (no bumper holes).

Yeah... black can be a pain, especially in these conditions. I didn't have much choice for timing since it was a spur of the moment thing. I also didn't have a polarizer on me so that made things trickier with the reflections.
Thanks for the input on #2. It's good to hear what works for people and what doesn't.
pretty cool about the front plate thing. i know some of the GTR guys have said screw it, as long as you have the front one inside the car you're ok or something so they keep it under the passenger floor mat iirc
