Out of the entire year what can you call your best/fav shot of 2010 that you took, and why. Post em up!

Not my favorite shot, but probably my best lit. I used 3 strobes and 2 pieces of white foam core for fill.

Good idea. This one is pretty plain but I think the lighting and color came out really well.

 

Airshow in SA a few months ago. untouched.

Hahaha you got expensive taste my friend - that ripped up Bambi shirt is $500 - crazy LA boutique stores. The model is from Russia - speaks very little English. Laguna Beach was the backdrop.

haha true, she's super sweet - leaving for Russia soon though, unfortunately.

Camera is 5D Mk II. I used the 24-105mm f4 for that. Other than that I use a 70-200mm IS f2.8 Mk II. I also use the 16-35mm f2.8 Mk II but just sold it a couple days ago. Might pick up the 24-70mm f2.8 to replace the 24-105mm and a 85mm f1.2 for low light.

Nice shots everyone. I think I've come a long way from starting last year. Stu, I don't know how you can pick just one out of the many great shots of her. Alvin, nice to see you haven't gone back to Nikon haha. I'm still a huge fan and follower of your work. I'm trying to shoot more dramatic and fasion stuff myself over the next year. Here's a shot at a bike track day at PIR. 5dii and 70-200 f/4 IS with a Canon 1.4x TC. Wish I had the RAW to tweak it a bit more but unfortunately it was lost with my old computer. I'm going to try and crop it a little tighter to print it.
