Default Not a Z but a Murdered Out Camaro

This is my first attempt in using Alienbees. I have never really done a real photoshoot with strobes yet. What made it hard was the fact that the car was black. I was losing ambient light quick because the sun was coming down. The area was also covered with trees so there wasn't too much leaking in through our area. Any critique would be awesome.

the lighting on the wheels makes it almost look like there is a chrome lip on the F14s. I love F14s but didn't recognize them at first. That is the one thing I would change is have more just natural lighting in the pictures

I see make sense. Still working with balancing the ambient lighting with the flash. But there was definately a lack of natural lighting.

I would try placing a strobe or remote flash behind the camaro to achieve separation from the dark background. other than that, well done.

Yes, move the light to a better position or move the car away from trees to create a separation. Also it's better to have a "reflective" ground to enhance the lighting.

What are your camera/lens setup?

I'm using a d7000 with a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8. As the location there wasn't I much I can do about separating the car with shadows because the place was covered with trees. Next time I will choose a better location overall. Maybe a lighter car would have been better.

Ideally, you would want a less busy background so you can bring the car out more. Nice camera and lens.

Have fun shooting!

I think you do not know the meaning of "Murdered Out"

I still see a lot of work to be done to get it "Murdered Out"
