I don't choose the models haha. But honestly she was very pretty and I thought she looked better then most the "import models" out there. I've done nothing to photoshop her to look any better at all.

No I really do agree with you 100 percent on the topic of these models. There many out there that don't deserve to be called "models." I have no idea where they come from, this my first time shooting for this company haha. This particular model wasn't so bad at all. But looks are always subjective so someone who is ugly to one person is pretty to another.

I feel some responsibility for pointing this thread in the wrong direction. As far as the model goes, she's actually one of the better ones, she's cute. She's not scorching hot, but she has real *****, good curves and an amazing butt. So... thumbs up.
Now back to the car: Huge turbo! Looks great, loving the color.

What strobes are you running?
In the one titled 'frontal view' the strobe on the left needs to be closer to the camera because you are getting some harsh shadows on the left side of her face and on her knees and stuff. Models can often be sensitive about the weirdest parts of their bodies like that so to make them feel good you want to avoid accentuating those little things.
Shooting a model and a car together is tough because you have to balance your strobes between the two. You obviously have the car stuff down, because the very first picture looks amazing. For the most part when I shoot people I run a gel filter on my flashes or strobes because most people's skin looks more natural in an incandescent light whereas cars look better in white light. You should consider adding a fill flash on low power with a gel filter and diffuser pointed right at her only and then playing with the white balance to get the desired result. She does look kind of pale in these pics, thats the only reason I'm suggesting it.
The pics really turned out great. Great car, great location, good model.

^^Thank you. This is the information I need. As for strobes I have an alienbee b1600 to the left and an alienbee b800 to the right for the picture "frontal view." Balancing the power of the two strobes is always an issue for me because of the power of the different models. But I can't complain because I got them for 180 each on craigslist. As for using a gel I can use the extra sb28 I have. If I add a gel to my sb28 and shoot the model directly will mixing the two kinds of light be an issue?

Is the sb28 manually adjustable? Ive never used one. I run sb800s. I would just rotate it so it is up and down so it only bounces off of the model. But your strobes should be powerful enough to overtake the sb28 on the car. Youre not looking to light the entire model with the sb28, its just for an accent. It will soften her features a bit and make her skin look a bit more tanned. Just play with it. You might not even like it. I've been shooting photos of people for a long time both as a hobby and as a job and it has always been my experience that someone with pale skin looks a bit better not being fully hit with a bright white strobe.
