Default Rota G-Force Hyperblack 18x9 Wheels Installed on the Z

Taking everyone's advice I sold off the G force wheels and bought a set of staggered 20' axis exe wheels. Much better now and pix to come. Also painted lip same color as car. Pix of new setup to come soon

New setup.

I looked everywhere trying to find pix of these wheels on a Z before i bought them. Couldn't find anything online. Ordered them anyways, and just installed them last week. I'm very happy with them. Let me know what you guys think . Lug nuts are extended titanium D1 Spec

The wheels are 18x9 + 30 all around 265 30 18 rear 235 30 18 front. I would lower the car but I live in Monterey on a mountain that requires goin up a steep ad very $hitty hill similar to what it would be like in SF. Hence the polyurethane lip and not a Carbon fiber one!. Didnt want to drop $400 on a nice lip that would get beat up mainly got it for protecting the bumper. But I agree it doesn't look the best. Even up the hill at an angle I scrape a little on the lip. Ad my exhaust in the rear barely clears by like an inch and a half. If I still lived in the Central Valley I would get coils ! But thanks for comments guys.

Nice z, I always love the concave style rims.
I also feel your pain with the lowering, my work has 2 huge speed humps. I rub everytime at stock height... I can't imagine going lower.

Because my friend started working at a local shop and he got me a special promotion on the tires which only came in a 30 series, . I got all four of my tires Falken 912 265 R and 235 F for only $450 bucks new. From any other tire shop they would have been around $850 for all four I imagine. So I helped a friend and got a good deal on tires at the same time. Beggars can't be choosers lol.

I'd be begging for stock wheels back. Stock wheels and spacers would've looked better than these with the huge wheel gap.

Something looks off to me, maybe the wheel gap, or the short tires

I like the color i think it blends well. Im not a big fan of anything other than 6 or 7 spokes but i gotta say those are nice 10 spokes.

In regards to not dropping it....if you put the meat back on your tires and do some springs you shouldnt be much lower than you are now with those rubber bands on. It would def help with the wheel gap.

Add the narrow x9 wheels and weak +30 offsets to the mix.

going from some body gap to wheels better fitted on a hummer may have been a step in the wrong direction.

you could have just gotten taller tires and not look like youre 2 blocks from a DUB show.

Not so sure the new choice in wheels are an improvement. Should have just bought some spacers and dropped the car. The offsets and tires were weak but getting Axis 20s is meh as well.

Had a buyer for my Rota setup. Didn't go like everyone said. With the new 20' installed It brought my car up a little. So now i'm debating getting coilovers and lowering possibly. but still not sure yet. I'm happy with this setup and i'm going to keep it for now.

It does look better than before now that you have pics of the 20s up. The offsets still look conservative though.
