Akitas-I had over 25 of them. 12 were champions. Some of the most beautiful in the country. I miss my wife/dogs.

The brindle dog was my last one. I was 52 in that picture He was a great dog. One time we were walking on the road by my river. About 100 yards from us I saw a young bear cross the road & then the river. He didn't see him. When we got to that spot, my dog smelled his tracks. He crossed the river to follow the tracks. He was trained but failed to listen to me & continued up the mountain into the forrest. At night he came back. I wasn't worried about him, I was worried about the bear
