i've been thinking to two-tone my Z for a while.

am confused between what to choose from the below options:

can you guys help me see how they would look on my ride??

Say "no" to two-tone.

 

two tones have normally been left to silver colors.. black is way too clean to do a two tone i think. but you would surely be different if you painted your top a complete different color. i'm not saying that people would like it though...

 

thanks all for your input... and i agree with it i was just confused and wanted a slap

but what if we try very dark silver on top ??? abit lighter than black( from far looks like cf. but when u come closer u will see it as normal dark silver paint) what do u guys think ??

question: how come you have the LED tails, 06-08 front bumper but have the 03-05 track wheels and headlights....wierd combo.

gosh I love this forum, anything is possible ... to the OP, what kinda camera did you use to take those pics? I need to get me one... i have a sony 8.1 megapixels cybershot but my pics dont come out like that!

 

Yeh Old Skool early 80's 2 tone 280zx colours I think Adam @ Z1 has the blue / silver, but think they did a red / silver 2 tone!

I know that lots do black tops, but always wondered what silverstone or gunmetal over black would be....

Im partial to a two tone car. But, I think you have to make sure your accents dont overpower the car as a whole. Do your homework. Everyone hated the idea of me doing a black/white scheme on my old Z, but now I see it everywhere. You might start a trend. Good luck.

How about going Gunmetal (not sure what colour that is in the states but its the one here thats darker than silverstone) roof, boot and bonnet (Translation !! Roof, Trunk and Hood!!) but then add some gunmetal pinstripes to blend?
