Just ordered my first Wacom tablet
I got one of the Wacom Bamboo's. I know it's the lowest of them all but I figure it will be a good learning tool for a year or two and then maybe I'll sell it and upgrade. Can't wait to get it though because right now I'm doing all my photo shopping with a laptop touch pad and it sucks.

+1 new to PS and I didn't know about tablets until this past week when my friend showed me his. I'm gonna pick one up in a few weeks and see how I like it.
that was good thinking starting small. The more expensive and bigger you get the greater the sensativity of the pen and the more detail you can get with your work. Being a beginner theres no reason to go full ***** with the tablet.
I use the 4x6 at home and the 6x10 at work and I tell ya...theres a worlds difference between the two.
By the way, what are you going to be doing with it?

... you can get such more of a better feel for earasing, paintbrush, and other misc. stuff... the flow of everything is amazing. it sucks when i have to come home to my touchpad lap top
o well
id recomend these to any one! idk about the cheap ones, but the ones i use are the 300$ ones
