Hey all,
Got a black Z with silver varrs te reps currently. Thinking about getting them powdercoated a different color.

-black
-light gold
-bronze
-red

Can someone photoshop these colors for me? Feel free to give your opinions on what I should do!

I was thinking gold at first, and a few of you suggested it, but then all my friends were like "nooo, go black." Black looks good for obvious reasons, but black on black just seems cliche and I was thinking about being a little different. But Stogey, your car is dope, cant go wrong with black.

Reason I was thinking red was because of this car...but maybe that might be a bit far out.



I've seen Magentic's and Superblacks old Z, both look very good. Could stay with the silver, but the whole reason I was thinking of getting them powdercoated is because I got some curb rash on 2 of the wheels.

So as you can see, I dont know what to do. Keep it silver, go black or gold. Ughhh, too many options.

Jooky, that looks very nice! Exactly the shade of gold I would do. Candy teal is too bright for me.

 

I think i bright silver looks great on black cars. The black Z posted above with silver Te37s looks great!

 

Car has been out since 2003, every wheel/color been thought of, hard to be different unless you paint your wheel bright highlight color. GL on your decision.

 

I agree, especially on forums, but in my area, black on black is the go-to thing. I see it everyday. It's like the nismo V2 front bumper, looks awesome but many have it. Right now I am leaning towards the light gold, but we'll see I guess.

 

Yeah black on black is played out but it's a safe bet. Choose wisely.

Its sooo overdone.
It depends on the overall look you want for your car.If its a
"supercar" look,I'd do a darker gunmetal(see A GTR).
A dark brone is also a good choice.You'll tire of gold pretty quick.
If you are into trends,red stripes are really big.You could do a matte
black wheel with a red pinstripe.Maybe another red accent on the car.
What year is your Z?I've got a Nismo style grille insert with a red stripe
on my Z.Looks just like the upcoming 2014 370 Nismo grille.Its only available
for 03-05 350's.Think 06-08 will be coming out shortly.Would look great
on your black car.It also makes the front look lower.
