Our cams are different on a few levels. Both duration AND overlap are different for exhaust and intake. THat's definitely very different from other cams. THis, along with the overlap tailored to each application (Turbo vs NA/SC) allow for a purpose built setup for each case.

JWT has a big chart on their website, that lists specs for all of their cams.

Tomei has longer duration but less lift compared to JWT IIRC

It's impossible to say at this point how they will behave with SMOG... we do intend to do this, but this will be down the line, given some of the events and our schedule (4-6 weeks).

It's possible that we'll have the prototype revup cams done by then, if so we'll include them on the first go-around. It'll definitely be insane.

Any plans in the works for NA/Nitrous cams? Can't find anyone that makes nitrous cams for the Z.

Man you guys continuously come with the fire One stop shop here...

And for those that'll ask the rule of thumb is: More cam overlap the lopier (<<word?) the idle. The opposite is true for less overlap..

Yes that is correct, as long as you have the adequte valvetrain to support the higher rpms, the bottom end will take 8,000 RPM no problems.

I noticed you put Stage I after your NA cams. Does that mean that Stage II is under development?

Stage II will be a more aggresive "race" cam it is still under development, there is not an ETA at the moment, but the Stage I cams will still be very promising

I am getting a motor from BuiltZmotors and they told me that the cams are shipping out this week. I think staff at GTM was on a little vacation or something. Something they were over due for

Can't wait to see some dyno results with someone taking these up to 8k (N/A cams hopefully) Also...really excited about the Stage II N/A cams. Hopefully we can get around 50 wheel out of a good set of heads and cams.

I really am interested in cams now b/c I will be getting them in the next couple of weeks and have always been looking at these. I wonder how these turbo specific cams match up to the Jwt turbo cams now? SAm or GEORGE could you guys chime in here and maybe give me a little idea on the differences?????
