I wonder how much installing this on a UTEC, MAP sensor, JWT TT kit would throw off the tune and require a new tune?

Probably enough to warrant an immediate dyno test after installing the plenum. My guess is that it will lean out slightly.

More importantly, the plenum is finally making power to redline. This thing should be a screamer, especially for the forced induction people, where power tends to drop off around 6500rpm or so.

BTW, if that really works out to be true on the revup as well then it will outperform the Mrev2 above 6000rpm easily, it will be outperformed by the Mrev2 pretty handly below 4500rpm more then likely as well. Mrev2 is all about tq and does nothing above 6000rpm. If judged on its performance from 5000rpm up it will be interesting to see which is really better. I predict it will be less then 17hp on the RevUp engine as Nissan already tuned it for better high rpm performance but that the Cosworth will still offer gains over the Mrev if shifted at redline. Daily driver/non redline shifting I don't think anything will beat the Mrev2

Yes, the SSV has been proven to be more useful as a paper weight more than a peformance mod.

thats what I think, I'd rather get a kick of low end torque that I can feel rather than 10+ more at readline that I can see on a dyno graph.

This product will interesting when it comes to market it might even outperform the MREV u knows?? So many questions such a long wait....sharif try and borrow one from Cosworth they should give you a beta sample.
You have already sold like 20 its the least they could do for ur hard work...

Actually, If I saw that it was a wash with the Mrev2 at 5000 and was better till redline I would get this plenum in a heartbeat. But thats just me.

It's too early to tell. Engine dynos are one piece, but until its installed a car, with all the other drivetrain dynamics at play, the performance might be better or worse.

I wonder if i can get ahold of that CAI, hey Sharif is there any way you can ask? Hook me up with it

It looks to be the same dia. as the throttle body and with no decrease in the MAF section. That would be great for what i plan to do...

Plus that carbon weave looks oh so sexy with the matching endcaps (Main reason i want it )...

Doesn't the UR intake tube attach to the stock MAF housing? I was looking to have it one consistent dia. throughout the intake tract.

I could get one made, but if i'm able to get one that matches the plenum and meets the criteria i'm looking for, It can't hurt to ask.

edit: sorry i meant UTR

Yeah I meant the UTR as well. Yes, it is the same size all the way to the MAF.
