For Christ sake, the manifolds are still in Europe ! I would understand if, Forged, GTM or anyother distributer had one available for showing or just one in their possession, but it hasnt happened. O well

I still don't understand the hype for a product that's virtually unproven outside of Cosworth's claims. Just wait until it shows up, and is dyno'd against a baseline on the same day, same conditions, no further tuning. Then if it makes significant gains, I'll do back flips for it and bump this thread every day.

After the crap that VRT got the magazines to print....I will never believe anything I see in them I will only believe what Sharif or one of the other trustworthy sponsors have to say about it

If they (Cosworth) were looking for credibility and directly addressing the target market, they would have sent one to Sharif, GTM, or another forum sponsor for testing...

What magazine posted 50hp gain for the SSV Manifold? If a magazine can post those kind of results, for a shiiity plenum, anything is possible then!

His GTR has been testing MANY parts and shown the results for what they were....if they made power he said they made power and posted the graphs to illustrate where/how they made power
Just because someone lies to a good person doesnt mean that good person is a liar too....at some point you have to take someones word...VRT has been known to lie so why blame good people for believing their claims....
A magazine is there to cover and share whats going on in our industry and what other enthusiasts are doing --- to provide ideas, inspiration and for entertainment
I think having Michael F. test this piece is just as good as having any of the trusted vendors here test it
Their G made 500whp, the GTR will crack 1000whp and their Civic hatch was 680whp or so from a 1.6L ..... they wont BS the results because they have no real reason to fabricate the results
If you still arent happy with what Dsport says I am sure the vendors will get a hold of one and test it to add more proof of the results, whatever they may be
In my opinion this manifold will out perform the MREV2 in peak power production by a significant margin.....mid range...its a toss up...but this manifold is geared towards high rpm airflow and will show gains most likely from 6000rpm on....those of us with higher redlines, cams, valvesprings etc...will benefit the most in peak power gains
Many will site the low end/mid range gains as not worth it but for those who race and stay in the upper rpm bands this manifold looks like the trick to carry more power to redline
You will need at least OSIRIS or a UTEC to take full adantage of of the manifold so many people will ***** about that...but cam timing up top as well as fuel tuning will be crucial to making the most power out of it....
Personally I would like to kick it up to 7500, tune it and see what it makes on my RevUp
