Hi Guys! Just chiming in for a quick second. As most of you know, Sharif is at Sema in Las Vegas. He will be back Monday. I'm sure he has made time to bug Cosworth about the status of the Intake Plenum. I'm sure you'll all get an update shortly after he gets back!

Rookie: Thanks for the pics man. I assume that is cast and not plastic this time? It looks like a good design, but I would definitley have to chrome it... really dull looking.
I can only hope the Dyno shows it is as functional as it looks.

The one on the glass display is for sure cast. The fuel rail kit on display looks cool as well, not a return fuel system but probably a good upgrade to stock lines. Wonder how much space those notches in the bottom of the plenum allows for taller injectors.

I was thnking the same. Mayber Sharif will have some info on the fuel rail/line kit. It'd different than the one they had last year. The manifold looks good. now, if we could just get Cosworth to ship the damn things already. Half the community is waiting to see a dyno. I, for one, am waiting to see what this will do on Adam's engine. Judging by these pics, some extrude honing of the intake tracts to the lower manifold might not be a bad idea.

Just spoke to a rep.

They have not dyno'd it on a rev up. On a de with stock redline it made 16, taking it to 7200ish it made 23. Forgot to ask if this was at the wheels or on an engine dyno.

The revisions have been about getting the runners at the right angles to get equal airflow to all the cylinders. 100 have been sold, shipping out late Nov.

Comes with all the needed gaskets, throttle body probably in the near future. The notches should allow space for taller injectors.

Fuel kit should be available now. List price is 600 on the handout pamphlet.

Hopefully Sharif can get a better scoop on all the details.

I'd put some faith in this - but until I see a valid dyno from somebody, I'm on the fence. It's pretty to look at, but with all of the hype and no physical results I'm concerned that this is going to be another TN stage II affair

Yeah, I hear ya. The dreamwerkes SC has come up a few times as comparison as well. But, this is Cosworth. While TN may have dropped the ball, I doubt the engineering costs that Cosworth puts into their products would be wasted by not finally selling a product that has been kept in development for over two years. If they decided it wasn't worth the time and money for this, I think they would realized it and cancelled this project long ago. So, here's hoping it actually makes 23hp at 7200rpm! (for a thousand dollars, no less)

my guess is that this is with their block, or if not, at least their cams, some form of ecu tuning (obviously, not the type of mod you just stick on and not tune for), etc. Would be curious to see the exact combo of mods they used. Hopefully we'll have some hard and fast numbers soon. 23 whp on an otherwise stock motor though I find impossible to believe

I bet you're right, they have had this thing so long and they don't have any numbers for the rev up

I don't see it making anymore power on a revup vs a non, except maybe carrying it later in the rev range

+1 I think 23 would be a good number for FI.

I believe you must have changed it, as the pic there now is slightly naughty and definitely hot.

Greg and Hal from IP tried to steal the Cosworth plenum, but Sandy caught them in the act.

During the ruckus that followed, I will able to ****** one for XBR's car.

But alas, I was mugged by several other angry FP customer's, and decided just to put it back on the stand.

The plenums will be shipping in full, to us, by next week it seems. The final production plenum looks terrific, and the carbon fiber end caps are straight out of F1....looks insane.

They showed us the new dyno charts (rookie got a look too) Shows a 20whp+ peak improvement with tuning, and extending the redline. This thing definately will significantly extend the VQ35 power band. Power gains in the midrange look relatively mild...hard to tell by the graph, but about 5-7whp, but the thing comes to life after 6500rpm.

If anyone has tried to PM/email me, this is the first moment I have had to check the boards...just been extreme busy. I promise to catch up on Sunday and Monday. THANKS!

So how safe is raising the rev limiter to 7200 on a stock block w/ Vortech SC and a 2.87 pulley?

Also, will you be offering a polishing service for these?

Lets get these on the road!!!
