So it doesn't matter that fuel is still dumping into the cylinders the whole time?

I think it cuts the throttle, but I could be wrong.

His first post only mentions that it cuts the ignition.

I've been in an SRT-4 which had one of the first wot boxes installed from n2mb last year...it is pretty cool when you see it in action...it works just as described

hmmm, wire in something to a boost controller so the turbo doesn't go into vaccuum and this would be THE standard for drag racing!

^The point of this device is to allow you to hold the pedal down so that you dont loose boost in between shifts sort of like a 2 step in between every gear...its also easier on the tranny/syncros...but its apparent that boosted cars will benefit from it more than and N/A car...which is why its popular amongst the SRT-4/evo/... owners/tuners

absolutely true! you will not lose boost between shifts (i have one) the two step also lets you build boost on the line...

and as for dumping fuel in cylinders, its less then 1 second that it kills the ignition...

The 2 step is not active as of yet with the Z. Jay needs to check out the Cam sensor signal and write the software for it. But when it does activate, it will be activated by the clutch switch, when the clutch is depressed the 2 step will activate.
