We will be going to the track Friday, weather permitting..Unfortunately we will have no Before results on my set up..I have seen it lower ET's on an SRT4 by .7 of a second..It will also play in increasing the longevity of transmissions ans snychros on the 350Z.The slight cut of the ignition, will allow the synchros to mesh smoother. No more grinding gears..

Fogive my noobness but I would assume that the user will set the ignition shutoff time to the amount that is correct for the user.

So basically this:
I go to the track and start with 700ms, I realize that is too long so I jump it down to 200ms. I realize that is too short so I go back up to 500ms, which in turn is too long, etc...

You want it dialed in for YOUR driving, correct?

Correct..However 700ms is a long time, your GrannyShifting if that the case..Generally 100ms is good for the beginner user, then you lower it or raise it as you see fit..The whole idea is to cut the ignition for as little as possible to allow a smooth shift without loosing boost or RPM..

hey im not sure if you quoted that to point out the part about 1 missed wot shift breaking the syncs but, thats WITHOUT the wot box... what the wot box does it give a litle room for user error...

i dunno for you guys how it is but in my srt pushing 400whp when i go from third fo 4th doing a pull i get a little vibration and it feels like a chunk of ice is sitting in neutral that i have to shift through, with the wot box on it feels like the car is turned off, key out of ignition SMOOTH shift...

im pretty much done pushing the box here, those of you who get it will love it, those of you who dont get it will eventually

Yes...Jay is working on it right now, so all youll have to do is download the patch and hook up the one wire to the cam sensor... FREE of course!!!

 

what happens if you mis-shift? would the motor blow up since its in full power and not in gear? This is my biggest fear of the "no lift to shift" feature.

 

It's not in full power, this kills the ignition - the whole point of this box.
