Let me get this right , so your saying that you should always use an x pipe, and that that would function better than true dual exhaust. Do you mind my asking if you would explain please, not bing an *** just wanting to know. Was also wondering if these are ready to ship? 2 , 3 in.

great product guys... looks like it has top notch materials and build quality.

at what boost pressure is it set to open? i assume you may be able to order different springs in the actuator to open it at different boost levels?

i need to come up with some more money for these really soon. we are gonna build the downpipes for my new setup pretty soon and thats probably the best time to put these in.

looks like a quality product, im also interested in when they open? The lack of backpressure would effect the tune greatly im assuming...

In for some reviews!

+1 on the boost pressure.

Also if I already have a true dual exhaust will I need to buy 2 of these to work? And will these actually hurt performance if I'm sc bc there's no more backpressure?

It all depends on how you install it. If you have a VSV valve inline, then you can use a hobbs switch or an output from your standalone computer to tell it exactly when to open. You can even wire in a switch in the car so that it will never open if you want the car to be quiet all the time. If you just install it with no VSV valve then it begins to open at about 4 psi and is fully open by 10 psi.

If you have a true dual exhaust then yes you will need 2 of these. Because it will not open until you in boost, it will not hurt the performance of a SC car. Backpressure is only of real importance before you make boost. After you are in boost, the less backpressure the better for HP!!

So can this be setup so that when the nitrous/fuel solenoid is triggered to fire, this unit will also be triggered to open? Can it take a voltage reading or a grounding trigger to activate?

Yes no problem at all, just wire the vacuum switching valve in parallel to the nitrous solenoind and they will both open together.

so how much more gain would I expect with a sc car? I'm pushing 520whp now with hfc and a 2.25 borla exhaust and I'm wondering if the cost will justify the whp bc now I have to get 2.

Well I guess the easiest way to see what you will gain is do back to back pulls on the dyno... one with the exhaus ton, and then drop the exhaust to simulate the dumps and you will know!

i would say no, it wouldnt be worth it. by the time you spend 1000 for parts/labor to have them installed. then the dyno time. no.

I guess it depends what HP is worth to you. I have customers spend tons of money on things that give you no HP at all like blow off valves. IF the car picsk up 40 HP then $1000 is not that bad!! Look at the GTR guys.... they pay $2500 for a pipe upgrade that give you ZERO HP and they spend $4500-$5000 on exhausts that give you 10 HP!!! Those guys are crazy and the GTR parts are SO overpriced!!!
