Default New ProEFI Display!!!

Will display up to four things at once but will give you the ability to change things like boost set point, rev limiters, etc. Will fit nicely in the little cubby hole above the heater controls on the Z !!!

Pretty cool. Is it backlit? Hard to tell how big it actually is in that pic - can you hold it in your hand and snap a pic or put it next to the CAN gauge and take a pic? thank you!

While the graphics do look a little chunky, data display and ECU control are the more important factors. 4.5" is big though - taller than double din.

Can the round CAN gauge buttons also perform the adjustment functions or do they just select functions?

Yes, the can gauge can also changes settings.

Here is the big problem that we are facing.

On any 48 unit that wants to do traction control or vehicle speed based boost control we need to access the factory can data stream. Its communication speed is 500,000. Therefore we must set the 48 units can channel to communicate at 500,000. No problem, works fine. Unfortunately the can gauge only communicates at 250,000 therefore if you want to do those features on the 48 box, the can gauge stops working. The 128 unit has two can channels and we can set one at 250k and one at 500 k and both features work. This new gauge has selectable communication speeds so if you have a 48 box and want to do trac control etc, then you need this type of display. If you already have a can gauge, ProEFI will accept it as credit towards the new display as long as it is not scratched etc. Hope all of that makes sense!!!

Sweet! Thanks Larry

I'm gonna talk to Han about doing this instead of the CAN gauge.

Hey ya,
Not to be a bit of a nah sayer but my question is this: With all the technology out there why does this unit look a bit 16 bit Nintendo-ish?

I like the theory of the functionality but I dont like the delivery. Just my personal opinion.

You probably wouldn't like the price tag of the one you would 'like' the looks of. Pretty much all the aftermarket dashes are LCD.
