Default Matte Black Wheels (Advan) w/ Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant

I have a set of brand new Advan RS-Ds in Matte Black Finish. Before mounting and installing on my car I wanted to seal them so that it may be easier to clean and hopefully protect them from other elements, between washes.
Did some searching with no 100% answer on if this or any other product would change the matte black finish. Anyhow ordered Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant
http://www.detailedimage.com/Poorboy...t-P40/8-oz-S1/
from Detailed Image (sponsor/vendor here) and they shipped out and it was received quickly.

Review of Product:
After 3 light coats (recommended on label) of the PB's Wheel Sealant the wheel remains matte black. Note a little goes a long way.
To my eyes it appears a slightly deeper black which I am pleased with. Hard to catch the difference with the camera.
The sealant easily applied with a polish applicator pad and buffs off quite easily with a microfiber towel on both the matte black and white edge.
Was easy to remove from the crevasses of the raised lettering, machined lettering and stickers as well.
Doesn't produce that white dusty particles that you can get when buffing out some products.

Pictures on left column are with 3 coats of the sealant applied. Pictures on right column are straight out of the box without sealant. Pictures have not been edited except for adding text.

Hope this has been helpful to any current or future owners of matte black or matte wheels in general.

Note: I am not affiliated to either Poorboy's World or Detailed Image besides from being a happy customer to both!

Wheels look good but the real test is durability. Post photos at 10,000 miles.

Look's nice man, I wanted to do something similar like this when I get my Volk's, just nervous at what product to use.

Poorboys is good stuff, you should be happy with the results.
Jeff Werkstat, Rejax, Zaino and Jet seal 109 are also excellent choices.

I'm not an expert when it comes to wheel finishes but I can't see the poorboy's sealant doing any harm to volks either.

The Poorboys products are all great...I started out on their Natty's Blue carnauba wax. The wheel sealant is no exception. Never did like their polishes though, way too dusty once you break them down, but effective.

Hit them with the water hose and let's see how it beads.

Glad to hear the Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant is working so well for you. It should provide solid protection and make the future cleanings far easier. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Yes they can be used on Volks as well.
