I'd run a 305 with a 10.5" wheel.

That's fine if you want the tires to bulge. The proper wheel size IMO for a 305 would be 11"-11.5".

Street tires should be about the same. The tire widths are acutally slightly wider on the DR's I believe. They have the exact dimensions on the bfgoodrich site. I don't really see the need in running 295 street tires, though. With anything beyond NA power levels, street radials basically suck.

Yeah, I plan on staying out of the rain with these if at all possible. If I do get stuck I'll be driving like an old lady.

Even with Serious power theres no need to run street 295's the extra 20mm is gonna do anything with street tires, Ask I was told by a Discount tire guy who knew his chit, it takes alot to get street tires warm aka gripy. With Dr's as soon as you get the Silicone off they are ready to go.

i had the oil pressure problem in my SC61 on my MR2 turbo. I ended up using a nitrous jet kit to find the right restrictor. those damn 360 race bearings are a SOB. If you would like I could find the restrictor that worked for me.

these were the part #s from Summit

NOS-17952NOS -3an to flare

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...03581&D=303581
for the jet kits.

I am pretty sure It was the .24 jet. I am not 100% I have since sold the car, So I will have to double check.

Yeah, I'm not going to say what the exact cause is of the issues we've been having with the car until we've figured it out and can say exactly what was causing it. I'm just happy to say that after a lot of swapping out parts and phone conversations, I think we're finally on the right track to getting the car running 100%.

Despite what "some people" on here have been insinuating, the car has been running for almost a month. It just hasn't been at the point where we'd feel comfortable throwing a high boost race gas tune on it and pushing for real power.

I think I can speak for everyone involved that the car won't be rolled out until it's 100% right and ready to go. It's been SO close for a while, I just hope we're almost ready to wrap it up.

I didn't see anyone insinuating that your car wasn't in working order... but if they were they need to stop it!

I am glad it's almost done, I love seeing new setups...

i have not seen any either.... but i mean it doesn't take a genius to know something is up as to why the race gas tune is not there yet... but regardless its just part of the process when you try something custom...sometimes it just doesn't go your way. But regarless keep us posted though.
