I thought losing the A/C was part of the turbonetics kit.

(just ribbing you guys who melted your A/C lines!!! I was fortunate enough to never have any A/C issues with TN kit. )

The lines on my car are custom lengths and custom end fittings. They're also shielded so they'll never see heat. I don't think we'll ever have issues with them.

I know you aren't gonna mess around with this setup! I can't wait to hear how it all comes out. Jeremy has got to be getting close!!!!

Taurran, how art thou you globby bottle of stinking chip-oil? Come and get one in the yarbles, if you have any yarbles, you eunich jelly, thou...

Anyway, you got me fully confused. First I was under an impression that you are in a process of a motor break-in. Now you are posting pics of a huge turbo... What gives, droogie, the initial motor build did not go as planned, so while waiting for a re-build you have decided to go with an even bigger unit or what?

Lol.... well the motor has been fine all along.

The car's been running since the first day it was first turned over. All of the issues over the last... uhh.. month and a half or so have been non motor related. First we had the oil pressure issue with the combo of the new turbo and oil pump, and then the car wasn't making power with the compressor housing we had. The oil issue is good now, and we've got a turbo capable of making the power we want.

The stories already been told over the last few pages. I wish people would stop passing around the totally untrue rumor that my motor was "bad".

I can't wait to see the dyno charts of this turbo on a built VQ. I should read back for more info, but what EM are you going to use?

The car has a UTEC in it now. We're going to push it basically to where the UTEC will take it, but it will ultimately need a standalone (Haltech). The biggest limiting factors on the build will currently be the EMS and the single pump fuel system.

Default damnit!!!

well more progress but hit a wall again , more to come soon. we will have the whole story here soon of what we did to get where we are with this TN kit. this is not really tuned at all, just set up safe. dips down a bit at 6000 rpms cause it got a little more rich.

check this graph, this is how a VQ graph is supposed to look...

Car sounds amazing and i cant wait to drive it on high boost. this will be a little lower than the low boost setting. first graph is 10.5 psi and the other two are around 9 and then 8 psi for wastegate springs.

more to come very very soon...
