I actually went the opposite route and added an X-pipe to my APS dual exhaust because I didn't really like the true dual sound - IMO made my car sound more like an overdriven 4 cylinder that would get a little raspy in the upper rpms - you can sorta think of it as sounding like two 3 cylinder engines vs a V6.
From what I've read, going with a true dual exhaust is mostly beneficial for a turbo setup because of the turbos needing to spool quickly.
My understanding is the X-pipe on a NA or supercharger setup evens out the exhaust pressure and while one side might have a gap between engine pulses, the other bank's pulses are used to help pull the gasses on the other bank and has shown to gain power in most cases. Like why Indy and NASCAR use x-pipes instead of two independent exhaust pipes
Sam, I noticed on this car you used to tune it to 7100 rpms, but this dyno shows 6700 rpms. I'm guessing you decided to lower the redline for safety?
it looks like it probably would have stayed at 450whp at the rate the tq was starting to drop

I'll admit every now and then I'll wonder if I should have gone TT instead of vortech, but then I drive my car and realize WTF was I thinking I needed more power for other than big number turbo-bling bragging rights? On the street, more power will just make it harder to get traction in the early gears

No stress Issa,
Never have had a bad experience with doing business with you. It was fun.
Not sure what your are talking about with regards to torque converter it says on your invoice it wasn't installed also we credited you for cams and your used Stillen Super Charger after you blew your motor.
Pretty fair deal.
The oil caps not sure of. Hope your car comes out to your satisfaction.
Good-luck.

It was running lean at the top and GTM is checking it out. Didn't notice that I didn't have the upgraded T/C installed until GTM told me so. No wonder I couldn't tell a difference. :-)

No problems.
It is kind of distrubing it has been 5-6 months and you haven't mentioned any of the problems you are indicating since we last saw you.
Note:
It says on the Invoice the Torque Converter wasn't installed do to potential Transmission Issues related to the vibrations you are talking about.
You signed the invoice with that notation.
We did change the torque converter (stock) as indicated in the email thinking that was the issue you were concerned about. At any rate hope you are happy with your car. We discussed this before going to the dyno. We still have the other converter and will happily send it to GTM. Might be reluctant to install this one as you were complaining of the tranny vibrations. Obviously this hasn't persist since reinstalling the stock one. Let me know.
Take care.
