I guess a dyno chart with the boost and power isnt going to happen . But you said you used the 2.87 pulley . So Im guessing there is stock pulleys on the other two spots . So you should be hitting 13psi at around 6200rpm [ from my expireince ] So the belt is slipping from 6200 to redline . Although Sams extra idler pulley raps more belt around the serp pulley , it isnt producing any better results once a certain boost level is reached .
You should be very happy with the power produced with that setup . I found it to have much more trq and power down low .

2.87 on the T-trim, then the T-trim is good for something like 70 more whp over the stock blower
that's not too bad if it's slipping from 6200 to redline, though if I had to guess, it looks like it's slipping around 5700 rpms
think if you had the TIMROD belt setup and the other extra pulley, and then a stroker kit to relieve some of the boost pressure and then use the 3.12 pulley with 34 cog pulley and I could see boost lasting until 6600 rpms

how do u figure the T trim is good for 70 more whp over the stock blower?
I'm sort of confused now bc booger claimed to have hit 13-14psi (slipping) with the T trim and 3.12 pulley BUT this one was making only 13psi with the 2.87 pulley? I expected more out of the T trim and as of now I feel like I just wasted 1300 for the T trim upgrade from vortech

Something just doesnt add up bc I made 430hp with the stock blower and 2.87 pulley (no modifications and only hitting 10-10.5psi) and this car only made 420hp with T trim and 2.87 pulley hitting 13psi???

I'm comparing it to my car - which has more mods than that car.
I'm thinking if that car had water/meth injection, cams, headers etc etc same as mine, that it'd probably be capable of making around 30whp more than it is
I'm just guessing here, but the way the tq drops off on that car's dyno really leads me to think either
1- the belt is starting to slip a little
2- the exhaust is restrictive
or both
if it would hold 400 tq to 6600 rpms, 500whp would be made
if you added water/meth injection, cams, headers, etc etc it'd probably make 30 more whp, so around 530 maybe
if my car would pull around 460whp in the same 80-85 degree weather as it did (mine was dynoed when the high that day was 62 degrees), then I come up with the T-trim being around 70whp stronger than the stock vortech blower
so you already ordered the T-trim? Wow that didn't take long
I'm curious to hear about your results
psi will vary with elevation and temp.
Booger's setup was obviously different than this guy's and Booger runs a built engine with lower compression. And I think he was running the 34 tooth cog pulley with the 3.12 pulley but I could be wrong and he'll be the first to say I was

I was running a 3.12 pulley and a custom made 34tooth cog pulley . Which in turn should be close to running the 2.87 serp pulley . My top dyno was 430whp [Mustang dyno ] and a AT5 . But I am still running the SS box . So pushing it any further wasnt and still isnt an option .
And as you have seen , people get a HUGE range of whp from the Vortech on the stock blower from one dyno to the next...1 guy gets 390whp and the next gets 470whp...all on the same psi...lol ...go figure ?????

yeah the psi is a variable depending on how well your setup flows and how cold you can get the air with water/meth injection and then the local variables - outside temp, elevation, etc
GT Motorsports uses STD correction, not SAE on their dynos so that tends to reward people who dyno when it's cold outside, but CA weather is usually 70-85 degrees most of the time. Sam wants to know the status of how the car is doing THERE, not an averaged/corrected number like SAE. STD still factors in a little correction though unlike uncorrected numbers

so u werent making 13-14 psi with regular serp belt setup with the T trim?

The car is running Stock headers with a Carb legal Full Nismo exhaust and doesn't seem to be suffering any belt slippage issues. Also to the guy with the smart comments about the headlights the new 06' lights are already on with new pin stripes on them (the old ones were never painted)...
Thanks for everything Sam (GTM) & Tony (SuperChargersonline.com) & Sopper (Sopper)

well you'd know better than me, I don't live in CA. I was going off of weather.com
http://www.weather.com/weather/local...from=whatwhere
which has been saying it's been 86 degrees for awhile in the zip code where GT Motorsports is. I also have no idea what time of the day you were being tuned
what about cats? stock?
