how has this thread made it 5 pages and no one has asked,

"who built the car and told him it had 550whp when it was over 200whp less?"

Cmon guys! Why has this not been asked yet?

The discrepancy in the titled 600rwhp and GTM's results are explained in those threads, but fallen's question refers to the OP's post about the customer bringing the car to GTM with overstated HP - that's not been answered (or asked, until now) as of yet.

The car came from a former 350Z shop in Nor. Cal. called "Scott's Performance"

I was just curious to see one. As you can see in my sig, I want to join the club, LOL! And oh definitely yes, I would love to be the first!!!

However, when or if I finally get enough money saved up to have you guys build the 4.2L Stage 4 long block I've been dreaming about for my G, I sincerely doubt I will be the first!

I recently started a second part-time job/career to supplement my full time income so that I can hopefully make my build plans a reality sooner than later.

Let us know when you get the springs and everything dialed in. I would love to see what another roadster with this setup can achieve.

Stage 3
is a complete transmission upgrade which will increase the amount of friction plates and steel plates in the input, forward, and hi reverse drums. All these friction plates are high energy clutches designed to withstand very high loads. Some machining work is done to the case and the drums to improve the low reverse and low coast clutches’ load capacity. It also includes a new brake band, in addition to the valve body and the new torque convertor.

The idea behind the level of stages is to allow the customer to upgrade from one stage to the next based on his power needs, so if you get the stage 1 or 2 and you ever decide to go with the Stage 3 all you have to pay is the deference in price. We will have a full right up on the GTM transmissions upgrades soon.
Stay Tuned…

Prices:

Stage 1 Valve Body $847.00

Stage 2 Valve Body + Torque Converter $1,309.00

Stage 3 Full Transmission upgrades $4,692.90

Found it! Sorry. What about a core charge? The AT in my car now has a Valve Body + Torque Converter upgrades if that helps on a quote?
