Thumbs up

Congrats on getting the car back man!

I kinda skim through the pages of 'thanks' and don't know if you posted your complete mod list, but I'd love to see it.

Those are some really nice numbers though.

Wow....what a monster.....12 psi and you up there close to 600.

Sharif/Michael, I must have misunderstoon a post about the FCON; as I was under the impression that with the FCON the rev limitor could be moved up past 6500rpm?

Thanks

G

It looks like the PSI curve, not the trq curve...

I really like the new DD software interface - can't wait to play around with it.

Sharif, would you post up some more screen shots ? HP/Trq curve, A/F, and some of the other charts available with the new software interface... Thanks.

Keep in mind the tune is an initial break-in tune. So we actually got higher #'s but we de-tuned it to a slightly safer area to start with. Sharif also keep with the standard rev-limit for the break-in period.

After I put another month's worth of miles on her we will put the higher pumpgas and the Race maps in the FCON. Then Sharif will look at the power curve and decide if increasing the revlimit would beneficial. We will also put the Meth kit in for some added security and probably tune this 12 PSI map down for 89 octane for the cruddy gas I will be using in the Midwest.

Regarding Forged Performance's AWD Dyno; I understand this is a new version of the software so there are still a few features that have not been released yet. It is a new tool for Sharif to understand completely and I am sure as soon as he can, he will be putting up some examples of the new graphs and monitoring capabilities. I think mine was one of the first cars he tuned on this dyno, so more cool stuff will be coming out in the weeks to come.

The FCON allows us to set the rev limiter to whatever point we want. This particular run ended at 6500rpm or so. This is a really conservative preliminary tune. We havent even begun to add meaningful timing up top...just wanted to get BamBam home and on the road!

I got impatient and did it myself in excel... I had to guestimate HP numbers though...

I thought Cali had it bad with lousy 91. You can only get 89? I feel for you, my friend. I do love my 100 octane though.

We get 93 in MD, but Brent does Rally's where he sometimes cant get even 91 oct, hence the crap gas tune.
