Anyways, I was obviously frustrated by seeing you start new threads while I'm waiting around for an answer to a simple PM(s). I choose to communicate electronically because I know you are a busy man.

I understand their has been miscommunication on various ends, however, I don't want to call you and be one of those annoying customers. My PM's were spaced weeks apart, hence my concern. I simply wanted to know when/if the block was being shipped and a tracking number. This I asked for in the 3 PM's.

If things are being taken care of, I appreciate it and will talk to Irshad tomorrow. Again, re-read my original post. There is no hostility so no need to get worked up. I posted here as a "last resort" to hopefully get some info on my particular situation.
dont worry, its funny how quickly he can get defensive...

i think your frustration is justified and witht he investment you are putting your desperation has been shared by many. 2 things though i guess its grd who should have called you first anyways, but if you PMed here and got no answer, while others did such as triji... then that is not good eigther. Hopefully thats all a minor thing
i hope your problems sorted asap

My car is currently at GTM and I am spending way more than $120. More than $120 by several thousands. I sent Sam a pm a few weeks ago and I never received a reply from him. After giving him a few weeks to reply I picked up the phone and I called GTM directly on the shop line (not Sam's cell phone which I do have). Guess who picked up the phone on the second ring?

Yeah, I drove it out there. I had other business in Socal so I decided to take it to GTM. It took 41 hours from Miami to San Diego. I stopped to sleep in the rest areas twice. 4 hours each time.

Nah man, I can't justify spending that much more money on this thing. I got my 3rd child due in the next 12 days. Actually the wife and I are going to the doctor this afternoon to see if he will induce this week. I really need to stop modding after I get my car back.

GTM stage 3 cams
ARP 2000 studs
HKS head gasket
HKS EVC 6
HKS Navigator w/all sensors
Tein Flex w/EDFC
GTM fans and shroud
AAM Stage II fuel system
Adding a second Greddy Type S BOV
Retune - 91 and 93 octane max boost and race gas map

When Sam tuned my car last year he didn't push it that hard cause I had the regular ARP studs, so now that the head lift will be taken care of, I told him to push that ****.

Congrats on the car and the baby!

Sorry to take off topic again but congrats on your 3rd coming up, bud! You better still make time to workout! When do you expect Sam to have it completed?

Did Sam finish the tuning? Can Sam post the 91 octane dyno numbers? Paranormal, your setup is almost identical to what mine is going to be.. That's why I'm soooo curious!! Thanks~

The numbers on the original post is a preliminary dyno result with 91/100 octane mix. I want to see the numbers with 91 octane only if he has one.

Thanks for the heads up~ I started a thread about the forge actuator springs a while ago... Red springs seem to be what everyone recommend. So, what's the final numbers with a 91 octane mapping?

Thanks~

Nice! I've always been a fan of your G. Nice to see you stepping the power up a notch.

Oh, and welcome back from the sandbox. Have fun!

hmm.. No. I had my HKS EVC setup just like that and had no problems whatsoever. Irratic boost level is due to the weak springs in his forge actuator. This is a very well known problem. Search.

Also, what do you mean sideways?? If you are indeed talking about the HKS EVC stepping motor unit. It is sitting upright...

If you can't, you could still have the UpRev guys flash your ECU to take 5 maps. One could be a Valet map...

Actually, I think Sam has an Osiris license, he could do it for you...

I had a couple of PM's unanswered as well but you have to take into account that they probably get like a gazallion PM's a day and sifting thru those has to be tough when he is in the shop pretty much non-stop.

Good luck on your engine tho, I hope it comes out awesome!

Back on Topic: Paranormal, you car is going to be CRAZY SIIIIICK!!!!
Exactly. Pick up the phone and call if it is that urgent. I never have a problem getting through to GTM on the phone when I need something or have a question. I'm sure Sam and George get numerous PM's a day. If you have ever been to GTM, you would see how busy they are and realize that answering every PM that they get is not possible.

Back on topic:
I was supposed to pick Jimmy up at LAX yesterday but the flight got cancelled. He did call me and let me know that he would be flying in at a later time. Hopefully everything worked out and he was able to pick up his G.
