Just wanted to show everyone how serious we are about the Z/G market and some of the things were doing at the shop with our 350z. Originally started out with some bolt-ons (Procharger, etc..)

I wanted to post up a thread to show progress, issues, etc. and also to thank all of our sponsors for their belief in what we can do with the 350z/G35.

First the thanks to our Sponsors

Precision Turbo- Our 13+ year relationship has never skipped a beat. We couldn't ask for a better partnership. Harry is one of the most standup guys we know. We've worked with them over the last 6months on coming up with a turbo setup for our race car that will make the power we want. Each of our 67bb turbo's are capable of 725hp (These are also available with our turbo kit!)

Headgames- I've known Dave for awhile and he's one of the most methodical and patient guys I've ever worked with. He has prepared a set of heads for our car that are even crazier than the ones on Vinny's 350z. All custom Ferrea valvetrain, and lots of port work. He can elaborate if he likes on more details. Thanks again buddy!

ProEFI- We are one of 2 Primary vendors/partners for Jason's engine management solution. This product will be cats *** for engine management for many platforms. We're MORE than excited to be using this in our car.

CJM-Charlie is awesome, not sure whatelse needs to be said LOL. We wanted to thank CJM for the dual pump hanger for testing (it allowed us to identify what changes if any had to be made before it hit the market). Also the SICK intake manifold that we're going to try out and do some comparing. Thanks Charlie!

Darton- Thanks to John at Darton for working with us and helping us out with our block and sleeves. We're confident in the product and machine work and look forward to seeing it hold LOTS of power.

Brian Crower- Brian has provided us with a set of cams to run on those wicked heads. We're excited to see how they work out with our complete setup.

RPS- We've worked with Rob for 10+ years and he is a guy that with out question will stand behind his product. I've been around the block with clutch in my 15years of racing and he gets ALL of my business! We're going to be working with him on R&D on a triple disc setup soon for the Z/G's.

Now on to the update of the car.

We've been so swamped with customer builds and fabrication we haven't had a ton of time to work on the car, but that changed this week. We've started to get going on it as the winter is short (we can only hope being here in Chicago lol).

How come the header looks so pieced together. From my understanding the more welds you have the more potential the header has of cracking at the welds.

Also is that MIG welded cause i would not want to buy those if they are TIG'ed.

Is that a T3 flange and if so what happen to it,its so tiny and cute.

Look at these pictures of headers:

Full race (who is commonly accepted among the turbocharging world as making the best headers), Virtual works (Titan uses them on their record setting pro import cars) and us all make the headers the same way with the same material.

You would not want to buy it if it is Tig'd?? Who would mig weld a header??

Yes it is a T3 flange laser cut to accept the size of the inlet pipe. There is no point to making it larger when the pipe on the other side is not. It will flow plenty of air for the 1000-1200 RWHP that we need

How about this:

WHOEVER TIG WELDED THOUGHS HEADERS SUCK,my fart can lay a cleaner bead then that.

As for Full Race to me there herders are garbage.Reason i say this is that my experience w/ them is they constantly crack.Just like yours will do.However your polished headers LOOK alright for a show car.

Your grammer and spelling skills diminish the credibility of your posts.

When I get some sheep and need some herders, I guess I will not use Full Race. Thanks for the tip!!

We have been making headers for 18 years now....... guess how many have cracked?

None of those headers are polished... They are heat coated (Ceramic coating)
