Just been busy with some new stuff at work and all this week I am at the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb so I have had some stalls in my project from getting it to the dyno. Runs great though and feels good but is very conservative right now.

At PPIHC having a blast this year. There is more people than ever before in history. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Dave Mason for a couple of hours after he invited the 928M crew over!

He invited me to crew for him in the upcoming Las Vegas race that takes place over 500miles on August 20th!

The cars are simply amazing! There is a 350z here with a JWT TT and a host of other great mods that seems to be doing good!

I will post some good videos tomorrow sometime in the afternoon.

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't had any updates. Been very busy! My last power adders just came in today!!

One of my new toys is a universal boost limiter that is going to do what the expensive wastegate systems some people have put on their SC'd Z's. This will be a released product by 928 Motorsports!

I have to work on the Porsche this weekend and install my stuff, then I go back to Colorado Springs the next weekend, then I have a PCA event at Road America Labor Day weekend and then the Z will be dynoed with a couple different dyno charts of different settings!

I honestly don't know. The only reason I have one is because it is a custom one-off crank pulley with an 8-rib supercharger dedicated section rather than a 4-rib for the A/C.

Hey Ryan - glad to see things are finally coming together. I may be interested in that boost limiter valve - is it different than the simple one 928 already sells? I may want to jump down to the 3.12 from the 3.33, but don't want to be pushing 12 psi.

What are your plans for tuning now?

Yes, it is significantly different! It is a complete billet piece that we get made now that uses a teflon ball for sealing and a 1 inch NPT fitting. So with that in mind it is a huge improvement over the other limiter and it looks much better. Is adjustable from 8psi-31psi.

Pictures to come soon and maybe a video of it on the Porsche this weekend.

Somewhat of a big update!

Not regarding the car I just suprised my girlfriend by asking her to marry me at the top of Pikes Peak on a recent vacation.

Regarding my car:

I finally got my car to 928 Motorsports and we spent the day working on the car!

The Turbo XS exhaust is installed on the car, and my new hood is getting cut.

We spent time laying out the new venting system for the v-mount and it is going to be really nice! The baffling will done next weekend and all the nice warm air will be properly vented out of the top of the hood!

I have also been working on switching my Vortech from a self-contained oiling system to a normal engine oiling system. In order to do this I had to use a scavenge pump which was a huge pain to stuff in there since it is so tight. However, it is mounted and I just have to get the bracket welded and powdercoated.

I will also be powdercoating a number of my parts next weekend so I can hopefully get some better looks!!!

Looking to go to the dyno in 3 weeks. Next weekend will be for the above mentioned and tuning the car for how it is now and tuning the car for the extra power adder I have so when I go to the dyno I am not there for 4 hours.

Ryan

Love your porsche!

I have a 968 turbo track car myself. I don't think I have the ***** or the skills for Pike's Peak, but I share your enthusiasm for speed. My car makes the same power as your 928 but doesn't sound near as nasty!!! I love it.
