Thanks for the compliments everyone, we do appreciate the support this community gives us.
A few of us were out at this event, just to go and have a good time. I tracked my EVO, Sam tracked his as well. We also had a few GTM built cars there, I am happy to report we all drove our cars on the track that day with ZERO issues.
It is always nice when you can track your car, and still drive it back home, with no problems

My EVO was the white one, stock turbo, stock engine, just basic upgrades. Puts down about 340awhp on 91 and close to 400awhp on 100octane.
Next time swing by our garage and hang out, people are always welcome!

1. what were the ambient temps at the track?
2. did you all monitor tran fluid temps?
3. how many lbs of boost during the runs?
4. have you done any other cooling mods or adjustments related to the trans fluid?
Thanks and great work.......always impressed with your builds.

This car was running 14psi, which is wastegate pressure with the boost controller off.
One of the two blue coolers in the front is actually a transmission fluid cooler, the other is an engine oil cooler.
Thanks again Ron!

Sam, the car looks fantastic. I'm glad I could assist. I have to say my favorite part is the front grill. What are the 2 blue coolers for, oil?

It always makes me smile to hear of members actually taking their modded cars to a real roadcourse race track, especially a Z, G, or any sportscar. This is what these cars were made for and what you are supposed to do with them, not drive them straight in a quarter mile for about a few seconds (no real challenge there, for driver or machine).
As for the GTM silver roadster with the 600+ whp, great looking build and sweet car. For all that showed up at the event with any other cars, any lap times??? That would be interesting to know..........

I best time was a 2:10 but I suck Sam's car didn't have a transponder. The black supercharged GTM tuned G35 did a 2:05 and that is on 20" wheels with a full audio system in the trunk and a passenger. Pretty impressed since this is only his second event!

You should come join us next time, Get some more GTM built cars on the track and see what they can do. It is a lot of fun regardless.
I will keep you informed on the next event!

Great work GTM. Nice to see your built 5AT put through its paces. I am looking forward to see how mine does on the track as I start HPDE training next spring. It sure is a blast to drive on the street - just too fast to really do much of course.
