Smile Performance Factory is going to Australia !!

hey guys, this is just an announcement to let you know that we're headed to Australia. We have been chosen to build two cars for www.performanceforums.com team for this 2008 Drift Australia season. www.driftaustralia.com . Fellow My350z member (rolin7) contacted us via private messages a couple months ago for a quote and we are very honored to be selected for this task. AJ and i will be flown over in the middle of Feb. to install/tune everything we are currently building here at Performance Factory. These two 350zs will have everything they need to perform with some of the top drivers in the world....

Travis Dunstan will be one of the drivers for this team this season along with a second driver who is unannounced at this time. Here are a couple quick videos of Travis tearing up the scene.

here is a thread with a lot of pictures and details on his car last season

http://www.performanceforums.com/for...php?t=67217553

We cant wait to visit Australia and build these two cars. Here are some specs on the builds....

JWT 700 bb twin turbo kits
Custom intake piping for kits
Performance Factory Custom JE dual coated pistons
Eagle Rods
Fully machined block , crank and heads
Deatschwerks 650cc injectors
CJ Motorsports Stage 1 return fuel systems
FP fan shroud kits
HKS headgasket
ARP mains
ARP L19 headstuds
JWT C2 camshafts
JWT springs and shims
koyo radiators
Stillen oil coolers
Nismo 1.5 way LSDs
JWT clutch and flywheels
Defi boost, oil pressure and water temp gauges

We are still undecided on the engine management for them as of now, that will come very soon.

We are also needing 16 rims, we dont deal with a lot of rims so if you can help us out, please contact me. we need 4 18x8.5s for the front, and 12- 18x9.5s for the rear. big lips with a dark center, (gun metal, ect)

Big things coming this year!! stay tuned... if everything goes as planned, you will see these cars on US soil for a few months entering some US drifting events....

Thanks mate

Were very happy with everything you guys are doing for us. We were really looking for the right guys to do our two cars and unfortunately they just weren’t in Australia. The fact that you guys were willing to fly out to Australia to build the two cars works really well for us and your pricing was awesome as well!

We look forward to working with you guys over the coming months and we cant wait to have you guys over here

i also cant wait to see gear here in aussie land, what did you say it would be 4 pallets?

i fear for my city when you get here, theres only so many strippers!

simon

Sounds exciting - and challenging (to work in someone else's shop w/ possibly different equipment, etc.)

Good luck!
