It's a timed duration scramble boost...not something you have to keep your finger on.

The GT Spec Carbon bar fits easily. I'll have to try a stocker on L's car the next time its in here....or on Dilsher's car.

Thanks Sharif for showing that spacer too. I heard that Cosworth didn't think long and hard enough about most of us that have aftermarket fuel components and that the plenum simply wouldn't fit. Nice to see that theory didn't hold up.
Is that spacer a Forged Performance piece? Glad to see the plenum is still do-able for those of us that have upgraded fuel parts. It looks like it is supposed to be there. Very clean.
Thanks for sharing.

LOL, why stop at 20?

I always though scramble boost was very unsafe. How does it work?

When the button is depressed, it activates a higher boost level on the HKS EVC6 for a set period of time, such as 30 seconds. The way I setup the FCON mapping, we can run one map per fuel octane level...not per boost level....so it makes it safe and convenient to switch to higher boost on the fly, but for a short period of time. If you want high boost all the time, then simply change the setting on the boost controller directly.

Was this just running the car on the previous tune? If you retuned with the addition of the plenum, can you comment on any affect it had on the AFRs?

1) If you have upgraded fuel rails, and longer (non OEM) injectors, you will need one of these: Cosworth Plenum Spacer Kit This gives you the clearance needed to run upgraded fuel rails and larger/longer injectors.

Looks good!

Can you elaborate on the "Cosworth Plenum Spacer Kit??"

Does it come with the Plenum??
Optional??
Cost??

Different sizes offered (ex. 1/4" or 1/2")??

....if so - what size was used for these tests??
Do you expect to yield different results Depending on size of spacer?? Worth trying??

Additional waiting period for this kit??
Same as MotorDyne spacers??

The results look promising - thanks for sharing Sharif!!

Those look like great gains to me! I love to see flat top ends like that, the mean hp has significant gains across the whole rpm band!

Sorry for my crappy search skills, what other mods does this car have? Does it have ported heads and/or different cams?

Nice work Forged!
Great looking car Phil! Very clean and well thought out.

I was stressing this session more than I bet Phil was. I am soo glad this thing holds boost, and I just happen to get a dud.
I can wait to make it back from Vacation and try again.

Thawk408!!!
You will see 20 plus PSI (knock on wood) when I get back.

This thread is useless without some VIDS!

Thanks for posting the results up, Cosworth Plenum is a hit IMO...
