you are correct sir, BUT you will be starting with right under 400 whp on a stock motor. easily good for 550 on pump with A LOT more torque to play with. the engines are close in weight and i am building one right now to see what it will be capable of when built correctly.
Hey, so the stock bottom end is capable of handling 550hp on pump gas?
are there any internal parts available for the 5.6L? any custom parts needed for the swap like headers, etc.....very interested in this, thanks...

Whoa. I just read this entire thread, and I must say, good job PF. If I had $10k sittin' around, I would be all over doing this. Maybe you could offer just the EMS and supporting mods for those of us who would like to do the work ourself.
