man, i need to stay off these forums! who would have thought 600whp would be considered low-boost! nice work, and nice write up in Turbo. in the article, did you swap out the stop-techs to put the slicks on?

Yes, the magazine shoot was two different photo shoots combined. Kind of a before and after.

This pic is during install before it was finished (cleaned up and pin striped). Wongy is going to try and get a pic of the final product, but this should give you the idea.

The ATS triple started slipping above 750whp. A graph of wheel speed vs rpm made it very clear on the dyno. Their only recommendation was "needs more breakin", but this car has been daily driven for 4 months now with this stroker + clutch...

sometimes those clutches REALLY really need to be heated up. you should just do a slow dead stop start in 4th gear or so to do so.

then it will hold, its the exact opposite of a normal clutch....

Yea, we tried everything to get it to hold, but it just wouldn't.

try doing a full pull with the clutch half way engaged....that'll get it pretty toasty! ....or a 5th gear clutch drop.

I tried a top-fuel-style 1/8th mile burnout... never thought about the 5th gear drop though

In all seriousness though we did try multiple approaches to get it to hold more, and nothing is helping this clutch hold more. Speaking with others I discovered we are not the first to have slip issues at high power levels.
