AAM: MONSTER Z32 Build Step 1
Sorry guys, Ive been meaning to update this but I've been a little busy Lately. After the LONGEST break-in period in the history of mankind, we tuned Jack's 300ZXTT to 16/17ish psi (93 Octane). Made very good power for a 3.0. His goal: Eclipse 500whp and we delivered exactly what he wanted.
I want him to come back this winter and throw in some VP and turn it up to 24+, I think he's down since he saw Z1's 25psi tune at a little over 600whp/550tq. We also added a Rotora front and rear BBK to help him stop.
I must say though, that this car drives like a dream. Don't get me wrong I love Z/Gs, but this car is something else all together. Super smooth and responsive, and totally at the will of the driver. Enjoy the pics. I'll post high boost numbers this fall (hopefully)
Special thank to Jack for his support, enthusiasm and patience, Frank/Alex for building/Machining it, and Bryan@Z1 for helping me bypass the dealers "I need a VIN for that half moon cam seal coolant hose trim piece clip pin yadayadayda your looking for nonsense" by sending us OEM bits and pieces.

Looks great! I assume the 16/17psi tune was for 93 octane? Most Z32 owners, for some reason, strive to break that elusive 500rwhp with pump fuel (read: 94 octane or less). How was it tuned (i.e. what ECU), and to what AFR? At 24-25psi, he should easily go over 600rwhp.
It looks like you guys did a great job with it. Tell Jack to enjoy it and be safe!
