Default AAM: MONSTER Z32 Build Step 1

Whats up everyone,

Considering the forums Z lineage, I thought the Mid-A might enjoy following this build. Jack came to us with looking to do a full overhaul of his original owner garage kept PRISTINE 1990 300ZX TT gem. When I say pristine, I mean this the the cleanest Z32TT I've ever seen. Why move up to the Z33 when your 90 Z32 is practically flawless!
Not only are we machining and building the motor for him, we're replacing
almost all the oem under-hood components.

Current details of the upcoming build:

AAM Competition CNC Machined and Built Longblock
JWT Twin Garrett 2860RS Turbo Kit
JWT Cams
Jun Springs
Ferrea Valves
RPS Triple Disc Clutch
Mike Smith Manifolds
New Nissan OEM Harnesses, Oil & Water pump, Knock Sensor, Boost Sensors, VTSs, Valve Lifters etc...
Nismo Mounts / Thermostat
Z1 Viton Valve Stem Seals and Bronze Valve Guides
Z1 Intercooler and Pipe Kit
Z1 Enlarged Throttle Bodies
Power Enterprises/AAM Fuel
Specialty Z 3" Dual Exhaust
Greg Dupree Downpipes
Howe Radiator
Stillen Oil Cooler
HKS F-Con V Pro
HKS Knock Amp
HKS F-Con Navigator
HKS EVC IV Boost
DEFI Boost/EGT Gauges
Carbing F&R Strut Tower bars

Already Equipped on the Z32:

Tein Flex w/ EDFC
Z1 HICAS elimination kit / Lower control arms
HKS BOV Kit - OLD School!
Rays Wheels
JWT ECU
JDM Lighting Assemblies
One Piece Aluminum Drive Shaft

Stay Tuned - we're expecting big numbers! Enjoy the pics

Old School HKS BOV

UPDATE: 8/1

Dood, this car was SPOTLESS. When he pulled up, EVERYBODY in the shop was outside drooling over her. You would have thought a GT-R pulled up or something.

Here's an interior shot:

Here are some other exterior pics I snapped:

We'll keep you guys posted as the build progresses. Another quick question for you guys. The customer is thinking of getting different wheels on his Z. I suggested some old school Blitz Techno Speed Z2 Wheels , but others in the shop had different ideas. Here is a good shot of his current wheels:

Z32 Body Style never gets old.

Clean interior!

I thinkhe can use some nice seats, and perhaps a upgraded steering wheel.

All in all, very nice.

I think some CE28N's would look nice on it!

Nice Z32! I look forward to seeing the results of his build - when do you estimate it'll be done? What brand and size injector, and brand of pistons and rods are you going to use? What CR, and have you considered the shorter gear set to help spool-up of those (relatively) big turbos?

BTW, those are MIKE Smith manifolds.

Also, if you want to dress up his engine bay with chrome

or black

hardpipes, send me a PM.

Thanks, lol. Frank just finished breaking the motor down today. We'll disassemble and ultrasonic clean all the hard parts tomorrow. We'll be getting the block up on the RMCV40 sometime soon and the rotating assembly on the balancer by next week. The customer is not in too too much of a rush and neither are we for that matter. Since Spring hit, we're slammed for service and machine work. Plus we're still waiting on parts to arrive. But honestly, we're all pretty excited to get this z back together asap

Piston are Custom 9:0:1 JEs, coated plus some extra goodies. Rods are eagle. ARP fasteners/studs. Originally listed were nismos, Injectors are actually PE/Sard 850s plus 300 degree rails and some in-house stuff for fuel. Knock sensor upgrade in the works as well.

He didn't say that they plan to put a body kit and stickers on it, so the 3zc folks may not like it as much! They, in general, have their form and function priorities mixed up.

It sounds like you've put the goodies together to join the 600+rwhp club! I look forward to hearing about the owner's impressions after the car is built, broken-in, and tuned!
