we are probably about to step this kit up to the next level. i love when people tell me how they would have done it. i always just tell them to do it themselves and show me how much better it is...

not really a suggestion, just a question of why not. a question that a good business owner doesnt crap on the customer for asking. maybe a better answer would be that you tried both and this worked better. or maybe that that is in the plans. or maybe that thats just something that never crossed you mind. either way, any answer is better than ^^^. not really sure why being rude is a good thing to do

again, and this is the reason i am trying to stay away from the forums....

we decided to do this route for a few certain reasons. we are going to try a different way the next time around to compare. i just want to say that if you "feel" that any other way would be a better way of doing it, then feel free to do it. no worries...

Here's the info on the HR's stock plugs.
http://www.globaldenso.com/PLUG/topics/2006/12_1.html

One step colder denso iridiums would be FXE24HR11 according to this chart. http://www.globaldenso.com/PLUG/pnchart/chart_04.html
Hope that helped.

If you push the envelope too far (i.e. see where stuff starts to break) are you going to warranty labor or parts since you want to push it to the max? Does the customer know he is the test mule to see where it breaks? Does he even care?? He may have 100's burning holes in his pocket, maybe he can slide some of those my way

Not meant to be a bash AT ALL, just curious

So the customer knows he is the test mule and wants to find out where it breaks? As long as he knows and understands then all is good!!!

If my engine goes, Looks like i will be looking for a mildly built HR (probably just cams) to put back in based on what you guys are pushing!!!!! if I could push 500 all day long and not worry about it on a STOCK BLOCK, i'd be extatic!

I guess you can't just say 'If it is tuned right, you are fine"....to many Z factors coupled with the DE's weak rods make 500+ SAFE whpr a DE a pipe dream. (before anyone says it, Nowell's 570 hpr stock block ZTT blew an engine already)

Good work PF! You guys are cranking out some nice cars! I will have to make it out to one of your events with your shop Z's next time you come north. Tuning must be a ***** in that weather with it being so hot all the time, no?

i know a 110% im the "test mule" and im testing the waters.
im glad the car made this much whp but i have a second engine waiting to be built so when that gets finished up, we WILL test this stock block to its maximum potential.
but untill then im very happy with the tune, and this is jeremy tibbs your are talking about he can tune ANYTHING!

Are you serious? we have lost SOOO much money backing up our work its just crazy. thats why we have so many happy customers. people fully understand that we take care of them.

we just learn what parts are complete garbage and never install them after a couple of them break.

i wish i could get paid for the weeks of free time i have spent on peoples cars fixing products that cant survive. i dont know why but i feel obligated almost every time because i probably recommended the part....

I agree with JT that you are incorrect. I've spoken plenty of times with Jeremy, and he makes sure his customers are happy, and the same goes with plenty of other shop on the boards.

The top shops on this forum do this quite well in most cases. Forged, PF, GTM,MRC, Injected, etc. Customer service is the key aspect of their business.
