Forged Performance: Our first GTM TT kit on the VQ35HR..WOW!
I just wrapped up the tuning on Rogue350z's Green machine here, and the results are simply spectacular.
Let me start by saying, that the GTM TT kit sets a whole new level of quality, completeness, and uber-performance oriented components. The other kits on the market really can't compare. The kit we chose for Rogue's car was the Stage II kit, with GT28's, external Tial WG's, open dumps, and 3 inch downpipes. We added the FCON, with GTM's custom harness, EVC boost controller, and all the usually HKS goodies.
Starting with GTM's provided basemap, my first pull on the dyno was at WG pressure, and immediately the car put down 467whp@8.5psi without even trying.
I ended the tune with 515whp@11.5psi, and this engine is screaming to make more power. Look at the curve....power keeps ramping up to redline. It really is effortless to make power with these new generation motors. Although the HR's don't make the trq of the DE's, I'd take this power curve any day of the week.
As always, no additional or artificial correction is added to our numbers. I will take the car over to the DynoJet tomorrow, and get some DJ numbers if anyone is interested. I am tired now....going to sleep.
Thanks Jeremy, for letting us do this to your beautiful show car. Now you can finally put those beefy wheels and tires to good use!
Enjoy!!
