Congrats again SP, those billet wheels seem to be doing their job.

Congrats on the progress SP! Very impressive.

Just curious... How do those Precision billet 62's compare to a standard Garrett GT35R in terms of spool and max power?

AHH well that would explain why it won't fit LOL

Not sure I can do much about making ours fit with that diff cover. If I had one to test fit on we could look at making a change to it to accomodate.

Yes I have the data you need. My friends shop just tested the billet 62s vs a GT35R and a GT37R. The billet was only 100 rpm in spool behind the 35R but made 46 more HP!! All of the tests in this sheet were done at 30 psi.

Chris
Interesting. Thanks. What setup (car, motor, etc.) was used in this test?

So in a nutshell... the billet 62 makes similar power to a GT37R with spool similar to a GT35R?

Some updated pics of the car all chute'd up

Also and update on our effort to launch the car with a 28" slick on the factory 6spd, we found that the input shaft doesn't like to be launched at 5800 on a 2step

See vid.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGAFe-e6Mb8

New trans will go in next week and we'll play with 2step to see if we can find a point it will take without breaking.

We will also turn up the boost and see how much over the 1033rwhp we can make
