Does the drivetrain seem to be stronger then you thought? Or about what you expected? With being use to supras, im sure everything else is weak lol.

I think I'm kind of surprised. I just seem to have heard so many problems on the 6spd. I should either knock on wood or realize we may be doing something right. I do think a nice 28" is much softer on the drivetrain, and the lack of wheel hop could also play a big factor in lifespan.
Time will tell on it, we'll keep pushing it though

Daniel, I'll get you some incar shots

Thanks again for everyones support.

Chris

When I took my trans apart I was surprised at how strong and rigid it looked. Hopefully it will prove to not be a weak link.

I whole hearted agree. screw the auto racing trans. I know none of us run one in our street cars so who cares how fast they are on the track.

very interested in you twins setup would like more information and pictures of the actual turbo setup.

With the 62mm turbos they are hitting full boost round 5300rpm I believe (reving to 8700rpm).

But they offer smaller setups too. My Journal bearing 54mm see full boost at about 3800rpm in the lower gears, and in 5th and 6th full boost at 3200rpm. We may be trying the new billet 54mm on my setup over winter, see how much it changes.

NICE! It should spool quicker, especially if you get the ball bearing option.

I am going to have Chris start a new thread on the turbo kit. We have been getting a lot of inquiries on it lately!!

The turbo kit can be had with over a dozen different sized turbos for what ever HP goals that you have.... Or you can start out smaller and swap to a larger setup later!!

No I haven't. I have also toyed with the idea of doing a twin sequential system for the Z...... Just need more time!

And where the heck would they (sequentials) fit?
There is no space in the car as it is.
That would be interesting...

SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!

Not that Jerry McGuire or Cuba Gooding Jr. has anything to do with this... I just felt like saying that... I just really want to see the concept.

Was your vision having them up high in the engine bay...and if so would it require sacrificing some of the luxuries many of us have grown to love...like A/C or Power Steering? Just curious. I know its all preliminary, but I was just curious.
Thanks for sharing.

Nope, you would still have a/c and ps.

The turbos would sit where they normally sit
