Knowing Larry......whenever either there is no way to push more air, or no way to push more fuel with this setup he will stop. Those 62's will put it in the 12xx range.....wonder where they top out though?
Its the shop car, its supposed to be pushed for all our benefit.

I noticed in another thread that Larry or Chris stated that they will go for 40+PSI after they install larger injectors (1600 cc?).

I agree and they have definitely proven that the 6MT is capable of setting a record (which they did for the 350Z), but in my opinion they are now moving into a whp range, that only a PG can show what this car really is capable of. I know about SP's past successes with the Supras, I just think that with a drag car the PG is the way to go.

Injected has a PowerGlide in their car. So I think it's cool that SP chose to go a different route.
I'm also looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers that monster sedan at SP with the TH400 is gonna put up on the dyno and at the track.

Oh you auto guys lol......jk Tom
Well the Supra's and the Viper's have taken 6spd's into the 7's now. Now that the suspension can be worked out on the Z it'll be interesting to see where Chris and Larry can get the Z too. The vids of the 9.35 show how much "bouncing" the stock suspension is doing at the launch, and soooo much release at the shifts. Hopefully new suspension addresses that adequately.
I'm glad to see them sticking with the 6MT. Supras are deep in the 8's on the 6MT and I would like to see the Z/G platform get there too to rival the Supras. I'm confident that SP's Z should be in the 8's this coming season.

SP guys.... the 1033whp was at how much boost? I don't know if you posted that and I'm too lazy to go back and read ![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Is there a chance you can overlap the 1033 dyno with your most recent..
And other than turning up the boost is the only other thing you upgraded to, was Charles's plenum?
edit** I know you went with bigger injectors, just wondering if all you changed was the plenum. I guess what I'm curious about is if you ran the same boost level that you got 1033whp, and ran that same boost NOW with Charles's plenum, how much would you have gained.

No, we had the plenum on it all the time. The only things changed were stiffer springs in the WGs. We removed the exhaust and air filters...... roughly picked up almost 60HP there!! And turned it up!! We are changing the injectors next week.
