Well truth is that actually never could happen, because Sharif's got an ace up his sleeve - magic even stronger than Scott's. You guys know the shed out back behind the shop? Chris opened it up last time I was down - got in big trouble for it too. This is the truth - Chris will verify! Somebody, or something, lives inside... You have to look between the short blocks and spare parts. It's a small shed, but it hides well in there. Yep, you guessed it - Sharif's got his own motor building hermit. I swear.

Jay - sorry for taking 3 days to see your thread. I am soooo happy that the kit was your issue and that was all. I am jealous of you crusing around and I'm still under the car. 
Mad props to Sharif for going over the top on customer service yet again as well. Great shops like his seem to be harder to find lately.

The aps kit comes with much better turbos than the greddy kit. Saying that the greddy turbo's are better is complete blasphemy.

Im not cruising yet, but will be soon.. Yes Sharif stepped up to the plate, Im glad it was finally realized the APS was a POS and all shops will learn from this mistake never to install on a Built engine(maybe send the kits back until APS steps there game up)..
Dont know how it feels yet compared to the Procharger but in time ill be sure to post it here!! Thanks again Cass.. Im glad I was the guinea pig and you didnt do the same and waste lots of time and $..

Let me boil it down to the most basic of terms. The new APS Tuner kits use non-garrett tiny turbos that flow nowhere near the air, that the regular APS Garrett TT kits do.
Unfortunately for me and Jay, we didn't know this back in Dec when we installed a brand new APS TT Tuner kit on Jay's car. I could barely break 400whp with the his built motor (motor was built somwhere else..before you ask)
So I un-installed the brand new APS Tuner TT kit, and installed the tried and tested Greddy kit. I ate the labor..Jay paid the difference in the kit. Thank you.

I always assumed that's where mike was hiding all his cash from the government while he prepares his car for the next round of insane hp mods. You mean that's where the real motors are built ?

We only open the door to the shed at night, to feed the unibomber.
first time i called wren a racists.. i got 2 weeks.. ironically wren is currently banned for racial comments..
second time i made a comment to lawchick about putting foot in mouth.. i then got 1 month.. ironically lawchick is putting her foot in mouth in this very thread..
i don't know what the third will be.. perm? who knows.. so i have to watch what i say and how i say it

... If you search the Cass thread/APS turbo problems thread youll see.... No more garrett in the Tuner kit... They are using chinese ebay turbos..
