Tough to tell, but do you think that gain is just turbo or more cams? I just don't know but either way those are great numbers. Let me know when you want to swap cars. LoL.

HA!!!

ITs a bit of both...the peak power gain at each psi is probably more due to the turbos...but the cams give SO much more area.

And it goes through the gear so fast on the dyno with no effort. Just BAH...Crack (rev limiter).

Couple people didn't even believe it was modified when we pulled it in. But some knew...was out with 2 supra's night before.....a single 62mm car, and a single 67mm w/ QSV.....was a fun night

Amazing setup. Do you have any video links you could send to my inbox running other cars.

62mm car was on E85 @ 30psi
67mm car was on E85/93 mix about 20psi
I was on 93octane 18psi.

I had some trouble on the 2-3 shifts (couldn't tell if it was in gear....maybe cause the supra's were sooo damn loud everything sounded odd lol) so i'd give up all boost on that shift....I was a touch quicker in the gear though.

When we'd hit it at 45mph, whoever spooled first stayed slightly ahead till about 105mph where I started to pull slowly (I seemed to have a touch more at the top of the gears). When we hit it at 60 (I was starting in 3rd then) I would just consistantly pull....1-1.5 cars a gear.

Was a great time to have 3 cars soo close....now if I had been on 26.4psi...would have been different...we may find out tonight!!!!

None yet of the new setup....gonna try to get some tonight if the weather holds.

But based on how I destroyed a C5 Z06 (405hp one) and a new M3....I'd guess its capable of bout 130mph in the 1/4 on pump. Once the weather gets below 100000 degrees with 10000% humidity here, we'll find out.

Ha,
Was just a dyno day (for Supra's btw). So just pulled in, did 2 pulls and off again. And I'd like to get rid of the AEM truboost first. No clue what you are setting boost too.....setting of 70 = 22psi, 77 = 25.9psi, 83 = 26.4psi...lol

So once we get the can gauge in (that I won woohoo!) and can set it to a boost number, maybe we'll go for more......

It goes through the gear fast on the dyno at that power, 4th gear......(smoke after rev-limiter is from not having catch can yet.....SP is building it now).

Also to you folks that want to crack the 750bhp mark.........UPGRADE YOUR COOLING SYSTEM lol...

ha, for some reason tiny changes to my BCS were making big jumps in boost. like 12.4 would be 27psi and 12.6 would be 32 psi. I can imagine that AEM unit would be annoying as well then.

i probably should add one of those small wastegate springs to my 1bar for better control

I remember back in the day when 19psi was considered high boost.

19psi is now the upper limit of pump gas (maybe even a touch over) lol

You should run 10's on a DR or slick @ 650whp, if you dont, I wouldnt try running more power down the track IMO.

Yea, I'm hopin for a 10....just gotta get launch and shifts down right lol...

I'm pretty impressed with these nittos so hopefully they'll help with some traction.

Actually before, I think the turbos were a touch too big for the stock cams (I should have listened to larry in the beginning lol)....so when I'd shift, I was shifting into the tail end of the lag....ugh....
Now it doesn't do that...shifts right into the sweet spot . And it blows through 4th gear so fast on the street, this thing better turn 135mph with ease lol.

Weather doesn't look great for this week...maybe this weekend I'll be able to get out to a track and see what it'll do.

That would be great. Intense couldnt do it with more HP (But they had soo much extra weight over a stock bodied G35) nor could Blackbird (but thats probably due to lack of seat time in his case). . Wish we could get the G's down to 3200 like the Z guys are with full interior.

Will your local track let you continue to run without a cage into the 10s? Pretty sure we get booted after 1 pass.
