What have you done for your Z today?
Called off work to travel to Baltimore to grab me some goodies. Got a solid deal for these bad boys. $800 for the set with tires (which I'll be switching out soon). Tires are Continental ContiSports 225/45 and 265/40... Fronts have some stretch. Rears are basically bald but they don't look that stretched considering they're on 11-inch wide wheels. Fronts are still fine but I'll probably go 235/40 when the time comes. Wheels are 18" Cosmis Racing XT-206R, 9.5/11 widths, gunmetal with polished lips.
In my opinion, it was a downgrade when it comes to looks... they just don't look as good as my old 19s! The polished lip and the darker spokes make it seem smaller than they really are - my buddy thought they were 17s lol. I'll be playing with ride height tomorrow. Hopefully making it a tad lower will help, looks-wise.
However, I'll take function over form any day! They are SO much lighter compared to the Vordoven wheels. I don't know the exact weights but these feel 10 pounds lighter . The old wheels are being sold tomorrow.

I took my Z out in the pouring rain to enjoy watching the water sluff off the body. Sometimes, one has to make the car dirty to enjoy cleaning it again.

Now all gots to do is re-adjust the rear shocks....again (or just leave for when I put my light wheels back on in month, laff....). But for now, all's good.

am almost ready to sell my twin turbo 350z.......thinking of getting a used 20k miles 2012 aventador for 275k then contacting underground racing to put in a stage 2......since they will just end up taking the motor out and remanufacturing everything to 0 miles again.

6 inch cawk is my fave!

Yeah they rubbed in the back when I had a passenger and hit normal decent dips in the road... They run up front on major uneven parking lots but its super rare...
I should have left well enough alone... I also removed a bunch of weight from the back and now the car is sitting like a Charlie Hotel higher in the back... Im hoping it's just sitting high because I jacked it up and it just needs to settle again...
If not maybe ill remove one of the adjusters or something, im already basically at max low in the rear. I have about a fingers gap front and back.. But I could go down another inch in the front.

Got my Amsoil order in, ball joints came yesterday, battery and charger for my impact, and got the windshield replaced today as well.
Still waiting on my OMP Velocita Superleggero as well as my Works Bell Standard hub to come in the mail, and then I'll be done for a while
