Interest in APTech making A pillar finishers in their indestructible material?
So like the title says... Who would be interested in purchasing some new A pillar finishers?
I would hope that they would come as a pair...
They would come unpainted.
They would probably not ever need to be replaced again because their material can basically be run over by a car and stay intact...
For those that dont know what an A pillar is it's the piece above the window that gets brittle and is difficult to remove without destroying...
Some are wondering why you would ever need to remove them... Well when you wrap your roof or want to paint your car they get removed if you plan to do a decent job...
Anyways the company said I should do a thread to see how much interest their would be... I know I would be interested in a set of indestructible A pillars... Anyone else?

Yeah all years are the same... The ones from Nissan come painted and come with gaskets around the window... And they cost like $400 each... I haven't found any lower cost alternatives yet... So I through the idea out their for aptech and they said they would look into it if their was enough interest... Pretty sure they want a discussion about it... Then if their is interest and they think they can make enough money back then they will produce them...
This thread is my attempt at showing them its a good idea for them to make a lower cost alternative...
I would say if they could come with a set for around $300-$400 I would deff get a set.

be great
I have purchased two A-pillars used for around 200 shipped and they are so brittle the first was destroyed in shipping and the second one was damaged with one plastic clip broke off but was usable. I definetely would be interested in another especially made out of a tougher material . i think the oem $400 price is a lil high

I just bought two new ones at $350 each and both arrived destroyed (thanks UPS), so sent them back and waiting for what next.. The total cost with shipping and clips ran to $800+.. an alternative would be great, specially if also better material. Mine toasted, cracked in several places and on the passenger side one piece flew off on the highway, so they must be replaced before I paint. The paint shop stated they will turn to dust when removed.
For the response I see I guess the interest is low. Weird, I would think this is a common problem. Mine is a 2003 Touring 93K miles... As soon as parts get here going to paint.

add me to the list if they come with seals- i have no need for any right this instant- but- these are some of those crazy priced parts that will eventually have to be replaced ( after 12 years of florida sun -i am sure mine are just itching to fall apart if i look at them wrongly...)
