Yup. Same issue here. I have ratcheting wrench sets from Craftsman (multiple), Craftsman Pro (multiple), Armstrong, SK, Wright, Gearwrench, Mountain and probably a couple others. They're all slightly different from one set to the other. To be honest though, I think the SKs and the Mountains would do 90 percent of the work just fine. The Gearwrench and Mountains are pretty much the only non-USA tools in my box and it's getting harder to source USA-made stuff every year.
I eventually gave up on looking for the pinless universal joint and ordered a new one last night. Since the one I have/had is no longer made here in the USA, I paid a ridiculous amount for it from someone who had some new old stock. I'm sure the missing U-joint is going to turn up under a shelf or something like that eventually. Since the pinless U-joint works so much better than the ones that use pins, the cost isn't so much a hindrance as it is annoying.

Interior Work
Well today I have gotten all my interior put back together after sanding, painting and getting some other things done. Wrapped rear strut bar cover in black suede, custom Z logo embroidered to match OEM look.

Flamingo - that Miami art deco color scheme perfectly matches your name. Nice work.

Just laid down the money to get a set of Koni Yellow Adjustables for the fronts and rears. Our sponsored vendors rock on the deals.
I'm really getting tired of the left rear bumping sound and I'm hoping the new shocks solve the problem. If not, I'm still glad I went with the Konis.
I'm planning on spending a day or two working on the car over the week of Thanksgiving.

..And I'm just waiting for my set of Tanabe lowering springs to arrive.

I'm curious because I was REALLY close to getting a Bilstein B12 kit with the springs but didn't want to deal with lowering the car and having to face my steep driveway every evening. Also, I'm getting bad enough camber wear on my rear tires with the stock setup.
6 inch cawk is my fave!

Are you running stock height currently? Do you plan on getting a camber kit when you lower the car?

I also got a new torque wrench... Figured it might be a little more accurate than my harbor freight special, and couldn't pass it up for the price.
I already have the 5/8ths one with inch lbs and its held up well... Hopefully this one is similar.

@ DBOY-
I have the exact same one, still works great. Too bad Sears let go/sold off the Craftsman line to stay solvent.
Enjoy your weekend!

Yeah, I'm still running stock height. The kit lowers the front .7in and the rear 1.2in. I believe that decrease is still within the threshold that I won't have to use a camber kit.. We'll see what it looks like after it settles though. If it starts looking ''hellaflush'' I'll just pick up a camber kit and do it.... Really? They must have pretty many miles on them then..?

re: torque wrenches... you can never have enough of those. I think I have around ten of them in different types and torque ranges. I really like the ones Precision Instruments makes. Relatively inexpensive, Snap-On sells them re-branded, they’re made in the USA and they stay accurate. No need to reset to zero after each use either.

This torque wrench was on sale for $50 in store, and $40 online, my wife found a promo on her shop her way rewards so we got it for $25... Deal's ... Got it for half price by buying online and picking up in store.
We had to go to the store because I'm going to try and work on my cars weight reduction, and I got this tool for that.
Hopefully my body doesn't fall apart.
Enjoy the weekend John put the top down for me, it was 14 outside this morning here

Sears sure isn't what it used to be, they won't even price match their own online prices in the stores anymore.

Today I bottomed out like a champ and cracked the paint on my lip, soooo its managed to get about 400 miles on it before needing repairs... Not bad
