Default Denver Meet 06/03. Broadband Only...

Yesterday marked the first Denver area Z meet of the summer. The turnout was surprisingly good considering the message could not get out to all area members. It was great to have Dave in attendance as well. Being a staff writer for the SportZ mag and a race car driver, he is an excellent source of information on all things Z.

Clouds got heavy soon after we all gathered, so most pics aren't as bright as I wanted them to be. But it sure was a welcome respite from the 90 degree sun we all braved to be there at noon. It was great sitting down with everyone for lunch at the neighboring bar & grill.

Being my first meet, I was overjoyed to hang out with all the other Z enthusiasts and look forward to our future meets and drives. Best-in-the-country twisties to the west of the city beckon. 14,000 feet, here we come!

By the way, don't mind the Lancer. It belonged to a waitress at the bar

Here's the gang. Five people had already left by the time we dragged our lazy butts out of the bar to take a group pic.

More mods??? We are more about handling and speed vs bling. All our mods can't be seen.

Glad you like my BBS. Diamond black baby! As others have stated, you can't judge a book by it's cover. The vast majority of my mods are under that sleek, clean Redline Z exterior. The car's development profile was to gain immediate feedback with a more neutral handling package. You'll feel the razor sharp reflexes of a car at home on the track. I love it!

Sorry I couldn't make it their guys, I was out of town for a week. Looks like you needed someone to represent a DB and a Roadster!

Any turbo kits in the group? I am dying to ride in one!
