Default Z look like a good deal?

Ok so I'm not really a big 350z guy (I've got an 89 mustang) but my dad has a bone stock 2004 350z right now and wants something with a little more *****. He has been looking at these two right here.

The car in the second link was just recently shipped out to CA so if he buys it(we live in Ga) he will have to pay about 1000 to ship it.
Now the car in the first link has all stock internals while the car in the second link is all forged.
Which would be the better car for the money? Would it be better to buy the cheaper Z and if it blows up put forged internals. Just looking for some advice. Thanks.

If you've got the cash, go for #2. If I'm not mistaken, that car is owned by member: "USN HM 350Z" (John) here on the forum. Upstanding guy from what I know; shoot him a PM for info. Asside from that, JWT kit rocks and VRT knows their **** and build great cars.

yeah, he'd be a lot better off buying a kit and having it installed on his along with a re-work of the motor. then at least he know exactly what he's getting into.

I'm pretty sure he wants the car to already have the work done and not hassle with it. Why are those cars somebody elses problems? I dont get it.

If you dad is looking for a 350Z. And your dad is paying for the 350Z then maybe he can ask his own questions.
