Default 2007 Vortech 350z supercharger kit anyone?

To all my 07 owners. This info will be relayed to the right people that need to see this. If enough are serious, this might happen faster.

Now Vortech has a 3 year 36k mile warantee with all their SC kits.

So for all my 07 owners:

1) If the kit was out now would you buy one ASAP?
If no, then why

2) Would you be willing to prepay/deposit for a kit?

I am in no way selling these. Even though the 07 kit IS in R&D right now, if we can get enough serious people interested, it MIGHT help speed up the process, so post up your thoughts.

It will come out when it comes out . You arent going to effect when it does by collecting a few names .

I have an 07 and will not be buying a Vortech. I am planning on going twin turbo. My car is no longer a daily driver so I want more options.

I had a Vortech on my 03 that got totaled and loved the kit. Great for daily drivers. I would recommend the Vortech kit for people who want nice reliable power.

talked to ricky best the other day on AIM and the one they had in there looked to be more work then they thought. Other then the obvious twin throttle problem, the water neck comes out where the brackets are already mounted

They are going to wait for the new G35 to come out so they can make a retro kit that fits the both with minimal design changes

I thought they already had an 07 owners car in there fitting a Vortech.. This thread makes no sense.. Especially when you say they are going to wait for the new G35.. Dont you mean G37/ what are they going to do with the guinea pig customers car.. https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/281386-vortech-s-c-for-07-a.html Just leave it there until the new G comes out.. Cmon.. WTF over.......

Hey guys my name is Frank and I work in sales @ Vortech. Mark can vouch for me he has seen me post on drifting.com. I've been lurking my 350Z for a while and never posted. I'm a Nissan owner also (not a Z33, but I love the 350Z).

Let me clear things up...we used MSM's 07 only to take a closer look under the hood. Nothing was actually fitted. When we looked at the VQ35HR we realized that the new VQ37HR layout looks identical. We made the decision to wait until the G37 comes out and then actually test fit hardware and see if we can use any existing pieces. If/when we release a kit it will be for both HR motors. Believe me, we know there's a demand for this kit. We haven't forgotten about you guys. Thanks for all the Vortech love!

True...but we're still a few months out. We need to free up some lifts and we have SEMA approaching.

Honestly its Vortechs loss if another kit comes out first for 07+ because it seems they dont care/ taking sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet time.. Quamen could have made a kit by now if it was his only job..

All the 07's are dying for FI..... Literally.....

Vortech is dissapointing..

What, we don't care...LOL. If we didn't we wouldn't have even looked at one yet. Tell me what other FI companies have kits out for the 07 HR motor? We realize that we may not be the first to market with a kit. All of us here in sales have been pushing for this and it is high on our priority list. This is why I decided to post. To let you guys know that we aren't ignoring you. I know it's not what you guys want to hear but I'm just being honest. That's how I roll.

I say that so the Z would stay on your minds.. Because I know Vortech probably steers more towards domestics/puts them higher in priority..

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/

I say that because your site has no imports on the homepage.. Mostly Mustangs..

I hear ya man. There is an import kit on the homepage , and when the HR kit comes out it will be there too. We show love to the imports too. We also sponsor Blake Fuller 350Z NOPI Drift driver. Check out our V-rides section for more Vortech VQ love.

Hey Frank...it's tony over at superchargersonline.com. It's good to see you on the boards.

So will the newer kits have the uni chip now? or will the ss box still be used?

Hey Tony. Thanks dude!

The uni chip is used on the 05-06 REV-UP so I would think we would continue to use them for the VQ35/37HR.

They have it a bit easier...no bracket. We'd like to be the first, but it looks like we may have to go back to the drawing board on the bracket design. Man the guys at Nissan wanted to keep us on our toes! We'll have to wait and see.
