Default Where Have you Mounted your IPHONE

As the title says, were are you guys mounting your IPHONE or IPOD?

I'll start by saying yes I have searched still searching thru pages and pages of stuff.

The other day I'm listening to tunes on my IPHONE and heard my phone beep because I got a text message, as I look down to the passenger seat to quickly look I almost rear ended the person in front of of who decides out of no were on the highway that it was a real good time to slam on his brakes. Well I swerved out of that situation.

So it lead me to think I really need to put this were it is visible with the eyes and doesn't go falling everywhere from every turn I make.

I have the stock BOSE system with NAV. So I cant put it in the Cubby, I would like to find a mount that can keep the IPHONE close to the Stock NAV or radio.

Post Pics of your Setup!

Thoughts????

How about where the winshield meets the headliner....like around the rear view mirror...u can make a mount that slides into your headliner and have it bend down 90 degrees and attach the other side of the mount to a holder for your Iphone....then just run the cable for your interface up to the headliner...not hard to do...I work at CC have done similar setups for satellite radios

Not bad... I have seen the window mount, and it was okay, just didnt think it would reach. I use the tape deck adapter for my IPHONE. I saw this and think its pretty sleek looking. Just looking for more ideas before I make the purchase.

Style 2, doesnt look as nice when no phone is there.

I would think the A-pillar would be a good spot for it. Easy for you to glance at it, without your passenger all up in your business if you get a call or text...and should be easy enough to fabricate some type of mount.

The 12 Dollar Solution from Best Buy worked out fine. It holds up great! Not the cleanest looking thing when the phone inst mounted but it works out great! I was watching a movie in traffic last night.

Cool thing if your on listening to music and the phone rings. The music fades out, then when you answer it the sound comes thru your speakers. It will give you a choice if you have a blue tooth headset as well.

Okay I will slow down & use short words for you!!!

IPhone = POS understand??

IPhone = Glitchy gimmick device

IPhone = no workee for MMS(picture message)

IPhone = pain in the a$$ for SMS(text message)

IPhone = locked into ITunes, feel like CIA is watching my every move, might as well have a built in pee sample bottle built in. Because my privacy is Apple's business, cause you are watching my every move especially when I am forced load the service patch software that was just released earlier this month

IPhone = ?????

IPhone = not in my Z car

IPhone = throw out of Z car onto road at a high rate of speed. Yes I know it is bad for the environment to litter, but is is good to be rid of POS phone

THESE ARE FACTS OF THE IPHONE & APPLE/CIA/BIG BROTHER

No need to use short words, I'm capable of reading. But what you said made no sense. Try reading your statement and tell me if it makes sense or if it sounds like a baby ranting over something.

You don't like the IPhone thats fine with me, whats the point of posting something useless to this thread though?! Now I'm not gonna sit here and argue points on why the IPhone is good or not good. Everyone is entitled to there opinion. But the title says were do you mount your iphone, not what are your feelings. On a quick note though... All phones are monitored.

+1, this thread is about where to mount your IPhone,,,now if you came back with an orifice joke,,,I would have smirked,,,but posting your opinion as to why you do not like Iphone's,,,, belong in an "WHY I HATE I PHONES" thread...

No I'll take 1 during my lunch break. It hooks up to the Vents. Actually thinking of going another route. I was in major traffic and figured why not watch a movie. I could not rotate the dam thing so that kind of turned me off. Gonna take a look at this other 1 BestBuy had that mounts to your windshield. It has a goose neck that reaches to a good place, and it rotates.

I have an iphone, and a 30GB ipod Video. I keep the ipod in the car (mounted in center console), and my iphone on me.

however, i have been thinking of just putting my iphone in the console when i get in the car, and using a bluetooth headset to recieve calls.
