Default 08z clutch sticks only 5k miles.

okay so i have around 5400 miles on my z and this all started happening (clutch sticks) around 4500 miles anways i took it into nissan and they say the clutch over heats and its not under warrenty , yet i have the full out warrenty package 5yr/100k yadi ya.
Back to the subject i brought it into nissan and they said nothings wrong i took the technition out with me and it was happening he said it was the clutch getting over heated thats why it wouldnt pop out.
WTF? really what doest that mean i dont care if i reved up and launched every damn time NO clutch NO CLUTCH should die out at 5k miles no matter what. anyways i heard there was a recall for the 07-08 on clutches can anyone help me what to do. This dealership obviously doesnt wnato replace it because of money troubles and the economy. Since when are clutches not covered its not a normal wear and tear if it only has 5k miles sooo
with this clutch sticking its making it kinda impossible to drive nad making me not like this Z as much as i thought because i cant do anything. i have to worry about it happening on a hill and me hitting some one behind me cuz it sticks or something
anyways
CAN any1 help me with ths problem
please
get back asap
thanx yall.

Sounds to me like you're not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Clutch peddle sticks to floor and will not return? It’s a common drag racing problem. Search slave cylinder for more information.

OP, I had the same issue on my 07. Ended up being the slave cylinder and mine was covered under warranty. Infact I think there is even a recall on the part. Either way Nissan should have to replace it.

I think you should just give the car back like you mentioned in your other thread since you can't afford it.

But in any event. The fact that the clutch feels non existent sounds like a master/slave cylinder. Some of the 07's had a recall on the master or slave cylinder, maybe that issue was carried over to some of the 08 models.
