For all DC/NOVA/MD Z owners:
Would you be interested in participating in a photo-shoot around the monuments of DC, and in the Great Falls area? If you are, and/or would be willing to help with some planning, shoot me a PM or send me an email. We're trying to get all of the various colors covered, and mods/options are welcome.

Kelly, you know I'm down with this.
Few suggestions though, It will be REAL hectic getting group shots which are actually nice in DC due to so much traffic around there. If we want a scenic shot, I think the best would be down on Skyline Drive, about 90 minutes south of DC on a mountain top during a sunset, or rise.
Just let me know what I can do to help arrange this with you. My celluar is 703-203-1237, call anytime you are free.

You'll get copies of whatever we shoot, and you get to hang out and have fun with some other Z owners. I'd like to find one or two Zs of each color (custom paint welcome as well!) We'll probably do this over one or two days depending on how fast things go, and depending on the weather.

Do you have an idea (dates) when you would like to do this photoshoot? I would be glad to drive up from Newport News to help you out with this as long as it is on a weekend.

I agree with Ricky, DC traffic (especially during the summer, when tourists flock everywhere) is HORRIBLE. I mean we could maybe meet up at different monuments and all, but it would be at different times, and I doubt we could all get very close together. But hey, we could always do it though Just tell people you're part of some elite car club...yeah...

Count me in if it is on a weekend. I moved from nova 4 years ago and really miss it. It would be great to see some old friends and make some new ones. I would totally be up for a sunrise shoot on Skyline drive. We used to do that all the time after being out all fri or sat night. The best spot for a sun rise pic is just off 211 after the tunnel there is a pull off. You can easily get 20+ cars in the mix. If ne1 wants to scout it out I would be happy to provide fun directions.

I live off of Route 50 between DC and Annapolis (Bowie, MD), so I wouldn't mind taking a drive down to shoot my Z. Let me know the date/time. I'm heading to Vegas, PA, and Cali in the next couple of months, but I'd love to drop by, pick up some biatches, and shoot the Z's!
I'm in. DC would be fine for me, however, we'd have to get there early in the morning for a good photo shoot. We could probably get a photo in the parking lot down near the Capitol (the one between the East Gallery of NGA and the Capitol). The Washington Monument has all sorts of ugly fences around it at the moment, so there's nothing photogenic there. The Tidal Basin is another option...
